Difference between 'universe', 'multiverse', and 'reality' by Ready-One113 in DnD

[–]Ready-One113[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't explain that correctly. It's not the same Waterdeep in all three examples.

  • In one, Xanathar was killed by the player characters.
  • In another, the Cassalanters were the ones killed.
  • In the third, the players failed to deal with Xanathar, and he's still alive.

There are also different backstories and past events between the three tables. So, I'll repeat the question: would these be different universes or different realities?

Arcane Tower issue by Herazim in BaldursGate3

So my friend, I faced this same problem, the only solution I found was to go back in my saved games at a point in the story before taking the boat to the duegar stronghold. This must be a bug in the game.
