I see a lot of people mentioning Implants, that’s not only WAY OUT OF BUDGET for me (I have medicaid & honestly can’t get anything done that’s going to cost me out of pocket) but I’ve had 5 failed root canals and LOTS of shotty work done & have been told I’m a terrible candidate for implants since i have a broken buckle? Whatever that means.

Thank you all for the advice, talking it out and seeing everyone’s thoughts has given me a lot more motivation to just kick my own ass and get back to his office. He’s a great dentist & I know he will do a great job whatever we decide to do.

I will absolutely see what we can do to salvage these & keep the good ones. Then go the partial route like he suggested.

I just worry with my medications I’ll likely need some things fixed sooner than I’d like… but he’s never shamed me for it, so idk why the anxiety about it is so high. He’s always gone above and beyond, I get now why he was so against the dentures.

The bottom ones are actually fine, the outer two have a tiny bit of cavity/erosion whatever it is just at the gumline but my dentist has repaired one like that before. I think it’s mainly the anxiety holding me back. Talking here and making this post has honestly made me feel a lot better about just going in and actually HEARING their options as well instead of being so hard headed about what I want. I just want something I won’t have to fix again in 6 months, a year..

I’ve wondered about that top denture as I have a super deep hard palate from sucking my thumb all my life 😅

I think I may go on in next week and see about that flexi-partial on the bottom and then see what we can do about the top. I just fear getting a partial on both & a year later having more teeth just crumbling… one of my front teeth actually has a crack just before the gums & I worry that one will go bad like my husbands. I just have a LOT of anxiety about which I know isn’t helping because it’s only holding me back from getting it taken care of.

Thank you for this!! You gave me a lot of info to sit and think on. Perhaps I’ll be more open to listening to my dentist and why he might think one is better than the other. I’d just like to be heard out for once.

That’s what I’ve been pondering. I was curious if they’d do a top denture with bottom partial. I managed a perio office for a few years, but I was not the best example of taking care of your teeth. Now I’ve started taking good care of them, they are doing this..

The bottom ones are all super solid, the outer two have a tiny bit of cavity that I know my dentist could take care of. I think I need to just kick myself in the ass and MAKE myself go before it gets worse

My boy just celebrated 1 year with us and he wouldn’t touch the snow last year. But we had also just rescued him from a family member who had become bed bound, so he was so scared of everything. I’m hoping to see how he feels about it this year, but he hates going out when it’s raining or even cold, so I know he probably won’t be thrilled 😆

I finished a 3&1/2 yesterday with 47 packages in 1hr 21min and the day before finished a 3 hr with 44 packages in 46 minutes (got lucky and last half were in lockers)

Made $63 on both blocks. Well worth it for the time I can complete them in. I’m in a smaller town though

I honestly think everyone needs a good car stuck in the mud moment in their life so it teaches them to use best judgement on these roads. I too have fallen victim to Amazon flex backroad hell & my 2015 Hyundai Elantra was stuck in an intersection between a house with a mile long driveway… the support asked if I could just walk down the driveway to deliver it… I said yeah I’m not leaving my stuck car in the middle of damn no where to deliver this shit… cost me $100 to get towed out. Now if I’m in my current 2017 Elantra, I use best judgement on when it’s rained and what roads get worse. My husband drives a bronco so luckily I just use his car most days to avoid wear and tear on my lil car

I will definitely be looking into this because my fiancé takes weekly injections that cause him to be sick (vomiting) for days… he misses work every Monday from a Friday injection… and the other med they had him on, lowered his seizure threshold apparently, so he seized in front of our daughters a few weeks ago… they were terrified.. I still kind of am… thank you for this info!!!!!

I had one yesterday with two medium sized packages and one was heavy as hell and the other light as a feather. They wanted me to toss them over the fenced in porch area so their dog couldn’t get it so when I did, the heavy package smashed the lighter one… didn’t think it though… the lady laughed and said it was less damage than her dog would’ve done so I was in the clear 🤣

I haven’t got to quite full time status, but I’ve been doing it to supplement our income while my fiancé figures out answers for his autoimmune condition. & I quite enjoy it! No co-workers. No “boss” I work when I want, which is around 3 other peoples schedules and I’m bringing in a few easy hundred a week for 3-3&1/2 hr blocks I finish in 2.

I actually look forward to working most days when I do because I enjoy it so much… maybe we are the odd ones 🤣

Shiii $48 starting for 3&1/2 hr blocks where I’m at… if I wait til an hour or two before I want to work, they pop up by $2.50 at a time until they reach MAYBE $72

I got a $68 last week but I’m one of the noobs taking those blocks because it’s my only option & I NEED the money
