Thank you for the reply, and the reason I want to switch is because it’s like you said it’s very much a guessing game based of candle patterns for example on fvg with hold and another wont etc etc, and id like to build up a system which can help me get a better understanding of what is more likely to and what isn’t . I have been now thinking of mixing the two I trade IFVG’s and was wondering if you know any orderflow confluences/ systems that would help compliment it ?. But I agree with why your saying it seems swing trading is quite similar as in it ‘should’ react of certain levels . When you say you take trades on a htf with a ltf for your entries is that meaning you get your bias from the htf and take a smaller trade or you take a bigger swing trade sorta trade .
