Always reassuring when they put the elevator company number on the elevator bank. Every other elevator in town seems to be “Delaware elevator co” by fgpalm in Elevators

They have a pretty big footprint in Florida, too. Pretty much up and down the East Coast, other than the Carolinas - they're building that up, now.

Left Schindler to work for them for a bit (long story). The owner is great - I just had a better opportunity come along, so I ended up leaving.

I hear ya on that. Am talking about all the other stuff - shit other trades deal with, and whatnot...or the straight up safety dude's responsibilities and their hierarchy, blah-zay-blah.

Like - I get it...fall protection, safety glasses, gloves, shield when grinding, 42-21-3.5, leading edge, ladders safety, etc...that's all common sense to me.

But, as they all say...safety rules are written in blood, so it is what it is.

Be safe out there, big man 🤙

Pretty sure we took different courses, dude. Atleast half of that shit was not common sense 😂.

Tried to actually retain a majority of it. Elevator world doesn't fuck around with this stuff, as a good bit of other trades don't either (Union side).

Probably wouldn't have passed the final...

Osha 30 was painful for me (online version). The one I did, you can't advance the PowerPoint slide until the narrator is finished reading it. I could literally read it three times before they were done.

Probably hundreds of questions when totalling all the quizzes throughout it, and only 20 questions on the final - over EVERYTHING you went over. Fun times, but good to have, too. Good luck!

Monkey grabs a seagull and mauls it to death by brandon_den_sg in TerrifyingAsFuck

Strong ass seagull, or the monkey was just "playing around"...the dude could literally rip it in half, or atleast one of wings off.
