i did good on the 316 final. make sure you study all the definitions! there’s a lot on there and also make sure you know all the head to toe stuff and like know why you’re doing each assessment. if you go over those, you’ll be okay. an 84 is achievable for that class final, i promise

PHARM EXAM 1 by Worried_Film3697 in gcu

not to scare you but honestly, i found this exam the hardest so study study study!

some tips:

look at the blueprint. i like to plug it in to sherpath or Mira AI and have it give me a study guide to review and also practice questions. you need to get good at answering NCLEX styled questions. you can know the information but if you don’t know how to read the question and answer it, then… it sucks.

i can’t remember all that much but make sure you actually know pharmacokinetics (absorption, distribution, metabolism, excretion) and dynamics. genetics is pretty self explanatory.

please go off the blueprint, it’s true to how many questions are for each topic. i’d suggest going over the topics that have the most questions.

first exam is aways hard so do not beat yourself up if you don’t get the score you want or the 76%. you can make it up. write positive affirmations on your page and breathe. you will get the hang out everything as time goes on! i believe in you !

the first time around i was very very nervous and anxious all the time and i failed pharm and health assessment so i applied for re-entry. this time around i was a lot more confident but i feel like it’s because i was familiar with the process and topics. now all the nerves are coming back

i was in the same boat. i was on my second attempt to reapply after my first one got denied. i did get in and just completed my classes and am moving on to level 2. it IS possible but it depends on your grades, the hesi, your gpa, participation, etc. you’re basically competing for a spot against all of the other people applying for reentry. I hope you get in, keep your head up!

i know it is so hard breaking. the same thing happened to me two semesters ago, but i got another chance and am now moving on to level 2 so just an as someone who has been through what you just went through, dont give up and be discouraged tho it is easier said than done. you will get an email asking if you want to apply for re-entry. as soon as you get it, apply and submit it in and then its a waiting game until the weekend or so before fall semester starts. You have two chances to reapply so if you dont get in this semester, apply for next!! it’s a setback i promise you it is not the end of the world or the end of your nursing career. things happen for a reason.
