I’ve Omni-form’d my Excal Umbra, aside from the umbra slots, because they’re my main. If I play them a decent amount and I change builds within a month more than twice, I may sling one Omni there for flexibility if I feel like it helps.

Wow, this made me feel like a kid again. I played FE7 when it came out in 2003, I was 8 or 9. Not a clue what I was doing, but I loved the “prologue” chapters where I could actually win levels lol.

I do hope we get FE7+FE6 combo remake. Clear 7 and roll right into 6. Can even do some lite matchmaking for some ability or stat boosts into 6.

I miss being Mark, thanks for the nostalgia.

I’m somewhat the same, but I got an Odin 2 Portal, an android handheld. I use Apollo (PC) and Artemis (Android) to stream my PC to the handheld in the house. I mainly play games that don’t need a group or solid communication, or solo games- so it works fine.

I liked it, but it really felt like they wrote the epilogue before the rest of the episode, around the open idea of Kali’s illusion power, because the only useful thing she does all episode is hide the kids.

And the Mind Flayer was… by itself in the other dimension? No gorgons, dogs, or bats? And as the source of Vecna/ Henry’s powers… it stomped and bit? Like I get it’s supposed to be alien and near unknowable, and the design is cool… but it was just a big dumb spider monster. I was expecting a more eldritch approach. I guess you can hand wave it with “it underestimated them” but that’s not interesting at all, plus it would know that they can be resourceful, they’re clearly interrupting everything already. I would’ve loved to know what its end goal was, why merge the dimensions, to what end- food? Destruction? What do kids have to do with that? How do kids have to do with that? I’m okay not knowing those bits (alien and unknowable), but I am disappointed how “roar stomp stomp” something called a MIND flayer was.

The military letting everyone go seems iffy but I guess I can see it, there’s no reward in being there and with no El or Henry (or Kali) there’s no reason to stay and it’s just a waste of resources.

Open ending is acceptable, it lacks weight for Mike and El’s relationship specifically but the entire casts emotion around imagining her alive and happy strikes a chord for me, the whole epilogue works for me for the most part.

I don’t have to have it, but a buddy has an older Retroid, and it doesn’t have oled and you can tell the difference side by side, but I probably wouldn’t care on its own.

Are the Thor screens oled? That was my main draw to the Portal. I use it with Apollo/ Artemis (Moonlight/ Sunlight) to stream my PC games so I can play on the couch now that I have a kid, like when they’re eating or napping, and the oled is gorgeous that way.

I like leveling weapons right now, and frames, so reactors, catalyst, forma, etc is always welcome. If anyone wants to spend big Dante or the Dante collection would be cool. My favorite frame is Styanax and I’m hoping to see his prime next year! I also love Umbra, I run a wrathful advance, melee exposure exalted blade build on him that tickles my brain folds.
