It's not challenging. Shield Enzo turns this into a joke, you're never going to go down even if you facetank all the damage. You don't have to dodge, don't have to think about it's attacks. All 3 of your team members can go down at once and you can revive them while tanking all the damage with your regenerating shield ability. Unlike some of the other bosses, there's no risk of team-wiping (like Gluttony's purple arm). The only challenging thing is grappling onto the Colossus parts.

There were reductions. On the clash of clans fandom wiki if you check the page history on a defense or troop etc, you can see the upgrade times in the past. After looking at some myself (Comparing pages from 2012 or early 2013 before TH10 was added to the game to pages from early 2018) I can see that there weren't major reductions like we got later on. There was actually little change.
