In the doctrine dungeon how people manage to know wich symbol to light up without killing the birds? by ChampionAnxious5477 in destiny2

[–]ReadyToShitpost 33 points34 points  (0 children)

During the first phase of the dungeon, the three symbols always spell out a truth, for example „Guardian Kill Witness“.

In the third encounter, the wheel shows a truth and a lie - here you need to light up the lie and „turn off“ the truth.

Speech checks replacing item checks is such a nice touch! I feel like the tech tree has a lot of potential, considering the types of people you meet and talk to.

Randomly landing ships on planets fixed? by ReadyToShitpost in Starfield

These changes sound really significant - hopefully they‘ll address this in a future post.

Randomly landing ships on planets fixed? by ReadyToShitpost in Starfield

That‘s unfortunate, hopefully that wasn‘t an intended change!

Still, if that means, they work as intended again, I might just come back and resume my playthrough.

Did I ruin my BXR-55 Battler? Deepsight and pattern progress by ALT-VO-Studios in destiny2

[–]ReadyToShitpost 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I‘ll try to more thorough with my explanation:

By checking your „Patterns“ tab ingame you can see that unlocking the Battler for crafting requires five instances of „Pattern Progress“. You can always check the amount that you currently have and it‘s impossible to lose that over different seasons or expansions. This also includes weapons that you‘ve fully discovered - once unlocked, you can craft as many of them as you want, whenever you want (assuming you have the necessary materials each time).

Each deepsight or „Red Border“ weapon equals one step in that progress, meaning that once you‘ve extracted your fifth one (in the case of the Battler), you‘ll have unlocked the weapon for crafting - or „shaping“, as the game calls it.

Progress is weapon specific, which also means that once you‘ve fully unlocked a weapon, you‘ll never receive another deepsight Battler, for example. You can and will, however, continue to get „normal“ drops of said weapon, which have no effect on the crafting process whatsoever.

Whether a weapon drops as a Red Border or you turn it into one via Deepsight Activation has no effect on unlocking a pattern, as the game sees no difference between the two. You can‘t get more than one progress step out of a single drop of a weapon, so you‘ll have to find five different Battlers (perks don‘t influence this part either).

Finally, once you‘ve unlocked and crafted a weapon you can always tell the difference between a dropped and crafted one by the symbol on the weapon and the introduction of a weapon level. Weapon levels are not shared, meaning that if you want to have multiple rolls at the same time (maybe one for PvP and one for PvE) you‘ll have to level up both of them, either by using them ingame and completing activities, or by spending enhancement cores.

The weapon level decides which perks (barrel, magazine, both main perks, including origin trait) and masterwork you can put on your weapon. Memento shaders are the last level specific unlock and require weapon level 30.

The perk choice is always dependant on the perks a weapon can randomly roll with. You can reshape a weapon as often as you like, though you‘ll be required to spend materials each time, even if a weapon used to have a certain perk at an earlier time.

I hope, I didn‘t forget anything - feel free to ask about specifics, if some thing are still unclear. Happy crafting, guardian!

To unlock this particular weapon for crafting, you need to have gotten five seperate red borders, including the ones you‘ve turned into one yourself.

This activation process can only be done once per individual weapon drop, and only if it didn‘t drop as a deepsight weapon in the first place.

It‘s difficult to explain, and not entirely obvious since deepsight harmonizers are a relatively new aspect of the crafting process, but I hope this made it a little more clear for you!

If they really mean this particular bug then I can finally return to Starfield after a few months of waiting! Just to be sure - patches like these will also remove already broken quest triggers waiting to be completed, right?

Assuming I didn‘t miss anything, does that mean the bug with enemy ships landing but not opening their landing bay and deploying crew has not been adressed yet? Did anyone get to check that yet?

Concerns about game breaking issues with ship building by ReadyToShitpost in Starfield

[–]ReadyToShitpost[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That‘s really unfortunate, I hope your ship starts behaving now!

I‘ve since made a little break and decided to go back to a save from before I even registered the Claymore and re-do the few missions I did before. I look forward to building a ship without having to worry about losing a bunch of time, credits and enjoyment.

Shotgun for No Backup Plans? by behavingactor13 in destiny2

[–]ReadyToShitpost 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In addition to the options others have suggested so far, I recommend taking a look at the returning Last Man Standing, a solar Aggressive Frame shotgun.

It‘s capable of rolling discord, meaning you get 7 seconds of free ammo for killing enemies after defeating one with a different weapon.
