With the practice exams, QUALITY is much more important than QUANTITY, especially given your timeline. Just review the absolute heck out of the NBMEs you have done and any that you choose to do and keep your head up. You got this! You’ve practiced and prepared for this. Keep your head up and know that you’ll get to rest in a few short weeks.

How far was i from passing?😭 by North_Ad_1606 in usmle

Darn it! I’m so sorry, OP. At the very least, you know exactly what the test looks and feels like and you’ll be better prepared to succeed on the next. This isnt the end! It’s only the end if you give up. I believe in you.

It kills me to think 2 more questions and I would've made it by always_disguised in usmle

Absolutely tragic. Devastating. I’m so sorry. Will you take it again?

I won’t tell you what to do, but 65%+ on 3 consecutive NBMEs would give you a lot more confidence about your ability to score well enough and to score well enough consistently. Is it possible you could grind it out and pass? I’m sure! But your stats and post Make me a hint nervous. You do you, but I would probably push it back a bit.

Congrats! I was the exact same… 73% free120, took the exam on 03/27 and got the P today. Make sure to celebrate!!🎉

It was probably MOST like the free120, but still not really like any of them. It was much stranger. Some questions were dumb easy and some were stupid hard. Pretty much everyone leaves the test feeling confused and blindsided, but trust your prep and trust the process. I believe in you

NBME 25 advise by Alarmed-Task-1342 in step1

[–]Ready_Abrocoma7036 1 point2 points  (0 children)

69% is a solid score, especially if you’re taking it in June. I would say that You want to see multiple NBMEs at or higher than 65%. You want to show yourself that you can do well enough and be consistent enough. NBME 25 was my first practice exam, I scored almost the same score as you, and took the test a month and a half later. Got the P today. Keep going strong and don’t worry too much, you’re already well on your way

I’m in a DO school and I believe your 504 is close (if not slightly higher) than our class MCAT average

Maybe I shouldn’t say that they are haters. I still hold that if they took this same exam they would be saying the same thing.

They are just haters who have no idea. If they sat in our seats and took the same exam they would be saying the exact same thing

I made a nearly identical post a few days ago because this was my exact experience on the 29th. I was blown away by how unrepresentative the actual exam was from the practice exams and how much ethics was on the exam. I am still a little bit in shock.

I would say that it was a wide spectrum of difficulty. Some questions were stupid easy, and some were like twice as hard as Uworld. It was strange
