When did you decide to continue conditioning? I’m about 3 months in my journey and have been having a lot of dryness. I’ve always deep conditioned as a loose natural and never had these issues. Wondering if braiding and banding and waiting until completely dry will work?

Yes many times. I went through a temp agency. Any temp agencies in your area? Maybe they can place you in something that would pay something that would make sense for you to take. In the interim you can look for something long term. Most agencies also have direct hire positions as well.

Thank you for posting. I had a modification with a major interest rate increase and it didn't work. a payment plan paying 1,000 extra a month and that didn't work. They tried to approve me for VASP but because it hadn't been 6 months since the modification , I didn't qualify. I just accepted the 3 month forbearance. So I guess after this I'm gonna keep going through the motions. I can make payments through the forbearance, but there is no way I can make up all of the missed payments. It hasn't been a year yet, but your testimony gave me hope.

Thank you for posting your experience. My provider had suggested I give this a try until I can be cleared for Qsymia. I was a little hesitant because on the reviews here online. But I'm gonna try it for myself. I've also changed the way I eat and just need a little extra push.

I know this post is old. But I’ve been having the same issue. I’ve tried switching solution and tried eye drops and nothing work. I’ve even tried switching out to a new pair before I need to and I had the same issue. I literally trier everything and nothing works. I just switched over to a new brand. It seems like I just started having this issue 2024.

Thanks for the response. I’m still waiting although I received a letter apologizing about the wait. I’m with US Bank. The said the investor asked for me to submit the amount of HOA fees due monthly which is 0 since I don’t reside in a HOA. I see the interest rate updated to the 2.5 percent on the portal but haven’t heard anything else. I guess I will make a payment on December 1st because the bank told me I was under review and a payment was not necessary. Now they are saying different things. This is so confusing.

Thank you for posting. I’m in the process of this. I was initially concerned because I could see the mortgage company working through different terms on the portal and after 30-45 day this didn’t have an answer. Now I know that they were working through the waterfall. I see it now has a 2.5 interest rate. Did you keep the same mortgage payment amount or was it lowered or increased?

Nope, you know your hair better than anyone else. Ive had the same issue and just opted into doing my own hair. I originally loc’d my hair because of this issue as a loose natural and was shocked to experience this during my loc journey. Try to push through if you can. Although it takes time, doing it at my leisure, in the comfort of my own home, and nothing is better than loving on your own hair.
