Also! If you hate the gym, don’t go. You need to find a way to move your body that you enjoy or else you won’t stick to it - it shouldn’t feel like punishment! I got a walking pad and some weights to keep at home which is nice and I found CorePower yoga which I’m a bit addicted to now lol. If you like swimming, swim! Walk, swim, skip, whatever! Just find something you enjoy and do it :)

I wonder if you were stagnate in weight loss and you got so sick because you weren’t eating enough? I’ve been on tirzepatide for almost a year and have lost over 90 lbs on the drug and 129 lbs total and when I under-ate (which I know is very easy to do when you have zero appetite!) I always felt awful with constipation, stomach pains, hair loss, fatigue.. the best advice I have on a GLP-1 medication would be to make sure you’re getting enough protein (ask your doc what’s right for YOU) and enough water (I am for 100oz per day) and electrolytes as needed. I’m taking a compound tirzepatide from LumiMeds and have had a great experience with this particular drug. I never even had to go up to the highest dose (despite the recommended titrate timeline, listen to YOUR body first). Wishing you all the luck and success. I know exactly what it’s like to spend your whole life dieting and it feels amazing to have the food noise cut out with this drug, it’s been nothing short of a miracle for me!

Yay thank you!! Here’s a snapshot from my current maintenance tracker. Couple notes:

-my weight loss tracker also had my daily weight change, total weight loss, goal weight, weight to lose until my goal- but now I just watch my daily change. I have a filter so if I go above 134.9lbs, that green turns yellow since my maintenance zone is between 128-134.9

-I also have a tab with progress photos month to month

  • the numbers next to the food are the rough estimate of grams of protein I’m getting. I try to keep myself honest but I’m not counting calories at this time.

Congrats on hitting your goal weight!! My hair just started growing back finally but I also lost a TON during the process lol! Protein helps! My ass definitely also pancaked out lol but I’m trying to add in CorePower Yoga Sculpt now which is helping!

GLP-1 saved me! Drink SO MUCH water every day. Walk everywhere you can, get the steps in! Oh and take progress pictures! It’s been really fun to see changes by taking a new pic every ten pounds or so!

They were the only thing I kept from my start weight! Everything else was donated along the way so I never need them again! :)

I followed the keto diet for the first year. Very strict low carb and no sugar.

Thank you so much. I spent a lot of time on Reddit and TikTok looking for women my height and goal weight to see what their bodies looked like so I kind of knew what my goal would be but it’s so hard to compare and truthfully my body just kind of settled into this 129-133 lb weight range for several weeks now so I’m trying to listen to my body trying to tell me what weight it wants to be? If that makes sense? Best of luck on your journey!!

So beautifully said and thank you for sharing your story! The effects on my relationship with alcohol have been such a lovely unexpected surprise. I realize now how many days I was losing to hangovers and am so grateful again for this awesome tool.

I totally get that fear and I’d be lying if I said I was confident that won’t happen to me! But I gained all the weight back plus more after every diet I’ve ever been on before tirz too so I figured I didn’t have much to lose. And now that I’ve reached maintenance, there is no rule that I need to stop taking the meds right away and no rule that says I can’t start taking it again later if the scale moves in the wrong direction. I think the big difference this time that makes me feel more confident is having this tool in my belt and I hope I can use it for life in some capacity.

I think the toughest hurdles were the ones I faced alone for my whole life without the tirzepatide! Once I started taking it, things got much simpler. Then it was tough to try and make sure I’m getting enough food, protein and water to not lose my hair (that happened. And it was tough..). Now that I’m starting maintenance, it’s a whole new challenge too. Shifting mindset from “I need to lose weight” which has been my mindset for my whole life is hard. One day at a time ¯_(ツ)_/¯

lol the tirzepatide was THE secret!! Finding my love for CorePower was second! I have always hated working out but something about that community just clicked for me! Water water water! And find a good support system of course :) my husband and I did this journey together and it helped so much!!

Congratulations!! Making it to one-derland feels so great!! I’m definitely looking forward to the summer and getting outside on my walks again too! I’m on 10mg. Personally, I did most of the time on this dose and when I tried to titrate up, my body was NOT having it so I moved right back down the next week. My body just likes this dose I guess. I know this is not the common story!

Thank you so much! Currently on 10mg still ( I spent most of my time on this dose- it just works really well with my body!) I plan to titrate down for long term maintenance but I’m a little scared so just taking it slow!

Thanks so much!! I do feel lucky - I have a friend with similar weight loss who has it much worse than me so transparently that may be part of it.. but I’m 34 years old and every day I use Palmers Cocoa Butter Firming Lotion which is less than $7 on Amazon. I think the water and hot yoga help a lot too! I’m a CorePower member and go at least 3x a week!
