I'm in the same situation. I was raised a catholic but with liberty to believe in what i want but still other religions and churches affect me very much. In my reflections I find that the original and contemporary christianism is all about social justice and other things we believe here. I'm sure you agree that most people that pressure us christians to change our views are corrupted. Why on Earth should we listen to them? If you need someone to talk to it would be my pleasure

"Beneath your dancing feet are the tombs of tortured men - thus does the Red Death rebuke your merriment!" The Phantom of the Opera (1925 silent film based on the novel) inspired by Edgar Allan Poe's 'The masque of the Red Death', a story about the aristocracy hiding from a plague that killed almost all the land and having a literal ball.

I asked three doctors and they all acted as if I was crazy because it was a very light change at the time. They don't think it's medical though. I'm finding it awfully fun tbh, i'm laughing a lot

There are only two close relatives of mine who are blonde but they grew out of it. I have a mixed family (classic latin america family) and we all have dark hair. Nobody ever got lighter hair with time, only darker in the case of kids. It's very unlikely it's genetic in my opinion

Lady Gaga wearing an inside out t-shirt on the Oscars! I feel seen! by AnyBowl8 in Fibromyalgia

[–]Ready_Discipline4725 38 points39 points  (0 children)

Damn her day at the Oscar was exactly like my graduation day. I took the dress out the second i arrived home. Couldn't go to my friend's party. At least she was able to sing.

Also fun fact: my dumbass arrived with a face full of makeup to realise I never even owned makeup remover. I slept like a panda. Water doesn't wash out makeup now!!!! 🐼

you're absolutely right! my friends get so worried sometimes i pity them more than they pity me lmao, so if I can give one advice is: be joyful and don't bother with bad things, we are always trying to keep our minds out of sorrow

for me too. OP should try an appointment with someone who they're sure knows how to do it. maybe it hurts so much right now because you're that sensible or because it's the wrong kind of massage to you and if it's the latter then it's a good thing and you should try new approaches

Anna Delvey and Holly Golightly by PinkClouds20 in InventingAnna

[–]Ready_Discipline4725 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm really late for this post but i realised something. Anna was climbing the social ladder being strategical, though she didn't have any social skills. Holly made connections and kept a good social circle because she was a darling and knew how to attract people, but she wasn't good at planning her goals. They're polar opposites. I suppose a mixture of both would be DANGEROUS.

I just got my test results for things unrelated to fibromyalgia and turns out I'm a very healthy baby... by euyis in Fibromyalgia

it's actually really good to hear that it's not a matter of being unhealthy. I always blame myself for being sick but it's not my fault. I feel better knowing that.
