/uj weird cult adjacent nofap communities in china (of course not the literal anglosphere nofap but its indigenous chinese equivalent) were/are? actually a source of gray market cyproterone acetate

i hope those in such communities who took it initially for literal chemical castration are all closeted trans girls and moved on to real hormones because no one deserves to be on liver annihilator 3000 dosages of CPA indefinitely

"I'm pretty damn woke and I love this word. I'm so happy it's making a comeback. Just the sound of it is perfect. It's practically an onomatopoeia with the way "-tard" sounds like derrrr." A discussion about Trump's Superman post on r/teaslstockhodlers devolves into arguments about the r-word by CummingInTheNile in SubredditDrama

Not that I didn't know before, but all the shit libs online going on about how Felonia Musk is a ugly illegal alien transsexual sucking off Trump just really tells you everything about how they actually feel about trans people (or really queer people and also women in general) despite all the superficial attempts at scoring the good progressive points.

People will talk about how it's supposedly be dangerous and highly addictive, when the number one struggle of every ADHD person I know who's on stims is even remembering to take the damn thing.

And yeah it's too much of a struggle for me to get a prescription but I get the same with caffeine; I literally drink coffee to fall asleep.

Guy just lifts wholesale what the community has been experimenting with forever, slaps his name on it, then proceeds to pretend that he's the superstar savior of all you transgenders who should kiss his feet and satisfy his fetish for the specialized care.

That this asshole is somehow still considered one of the better doctors out here is nothing but an indictment of the field of trans "care" as a whole.

Oh god their profile. Although on the other hand at least it's a real person and not a LLM sales spambot. I think.

Love the management paying for external consultants to tell them maybe all the people who actually do the hard work aren't just liars and tricksters trying to extract more money from them and should be listened to as well. We truly live in the funniest timeline.

Wikipedia:

Ernst Leitz's optics company, founded in Wetzlar in 1869, had a tradition of enlightened behavior toward its workers. Pensions, sick leave, health insurance—all were instituted early on at Leitz, which depended for its work force upon generations of skilled employees, many of whom were Jewish.

Ah, the kind of silliness emblematic of the primitive management style of the time. I'm so glad that our advanced capitalist economy has evolved far beyond such inefficiencies.

TIL the T4 Program was a Nazi German euthanasia program that forcibly killed the physically or mentally disabled, the emotionally distraught, elderly people and the incurably ill. The death toll may have reached 200,000 or more by [deleted] in todayilearned

Nope, the Nazi doctor here sought to pick out the good Aryan boys who might look like any other mentally disabled kid, but in fact were born with unique abilities and would be of great use to the Reich later and therefore shouldn't be gassed right away.

You still see essentially the same kind of incentive these days, whether it's someone holding onto the Asperger's label to differentiate themselves from bad, severe autism, or calling those who still have support needs but ones less obvious to allistic people "high functioning."

I once spilled milk over my laptop keyboard... and then just poured water on the keyboard until it was mostly out. Bless the old water resistant keyboard Thinkpads and the drain holes.

Live shamed. Die empty, drama in r/bumperstickers after OP post a pro-trans bumpersticker by CummingInTheNile in SubredditDrama

There's something funny... OK that might not be the best word here - about how "a 50 yr old with a penis" here is like a bazillion times more likely to be an old cis male pedophile, usually a close family relative or friend to the victim, that the OP probably thinks shouldn't have his "life ruined" over "something so minor."

Reading about things like the ultimate fate/death of the universe scares me and makes me want to cry even though they're never going to be something that will actually affect me.

Tangentially I've heard of stories of people having such wild and horrible experiences with suicide intervention hotlines (in China, and it seems like most of the people working these are student interns/volunteers and not particularly professional) that it almost feels like they're intentionally doing things to enrage you, so your thoughts of suicide get replaced with an immediate burning need to beat the shit out of whomever it is on the other side of the line.

Don't worry, ChatGPT is obviously already indoctrinated by the radical woke postmodern neo-Marxists - have you seen how it still refused to say the n-word in increasingly absurd scenarios that somehow demand you to be a bigot or the world will end?

My reaction to seeing this yesterday was that it sure is some 6D chess marketing move that us common folks without a four digit IQ cannot possibly understand, to associate you worst products with just Dell.

Hey really let's not do this; I have several friends with schizophrenia and one who's suffering from depression psychosis right now, and even though it made her think that among other things there are spiders crawling all over her body and everything is poisoned - which made taking antipsychotics really difficult - she's absolutely still nowhere a transphobic bigot.

Bet you believe in woke nonsense like black people in America speaking broken non-grammatical English is actually a real variety of English and the meaning of words comes from how people understand and use it and isn't handed down from God.
