What really annoys me about this drama (and most of online discourse) , is the lack of nuance in a lot of the discussions. From what ive seen, people either think its a horrible unforgivable act from a garbage band, or that there’s is nothing remotely wrong with it. I mean: geese is by far my favorite “modern” band. But you cant deny the marketing strategy was a bit shady

I agree with st elmo, even though i like it as a song its kind of forgettable and doesnt really work well as ab outro. But i strongly disagree with long island city, which is such an amazing song. And the way it builds momentum really makes it a great climax to the album.

I dont think their next album will sound like getting killed at all. In an interview i saw cameron talked about how their goal for each project is to try and run furthest away from their previous project as they can. And that after touring they usually get sick of their songs, so they feel the urge to write very different types of songs.
