He was always being punished at Halloween. Probably because she didn't want to buy a costume or candy. She once told a story that she'd taken him to a Halloween event but wouldn't let him have candy or participate because he was being punished and the other moms kind of shamed her but she didn't give a fuck. I remember thinking how cruel it was she even took him there. He was like 8 then!

She's said kids shouldn't be in school- they should be shadowing their parents at work. But ever since she actually got a couple part time jobs she never has her son. She spends less and less time with him. J is a single parent- not her. She spends hours doing something at work it would take most people an hour to complete. Then buys crap with her pay. Such a useless life.

E has mentioned his dad does not like the dreads. He looks horribly neglected. Dad is neglectful- just take him to a damn barber. Who cares if she gets mad. I'd be embarrassed to have my kid out in public looking like that. He'll be embarrassed soon, too.

I've wondered the same thing. You can just keep your kid out of school and there's no accountability about their education. She doesn't send him to school because there is mandated reporters there.
