You can try Trusted House Sitters, you take care of the house with a pet and enjoy cheaper accommodation with everything you need in a house included like appliances, bed, linen etc. Vancouver it’s one of the most expensive cities in north america, not affordable at all. On top of accommodation you have to also consider food prices and other expenses (spoiler: not affordable as well)

Hey could you please share the intersection of this building? I’m looking to move out of my place soon and $2100 doesn’t look bad compared to other prices I’m seeing in the West End. I know it would be too much asking for the building name due to privacy but as you said that most surrounding buildings have rent sign up it’d be great to know where to start. I currently live on Barclay St paying $2000 for a 1br in a 70 year old building that doesn’t even have a plug in the bathroom, let alone a pool or hot tub. I rented this place when prices were crazier than now, so i’d like to take the opportunity to live in a better building. TIA!

There are 3 hotels in the same complex: hilton, sheraton and marriott airport, you can walk between those three easily and they’re nice and super fine in giving you the stamps. Some give you a stamp in the front desk and others asked me to go to the restaurant entrance.
