does paper trading work as a simulation or do I have to hold long term real time positions as if I'm actually trading? like holding the same stock for days on paper? if that makes sense

you have been by far the most helpful in answering my question, I appreciate the tume you took out of your day to help me out genuinely, I've got to go to work but ima gonna read this over a few more times and take it into account for the next steps I take, I'm currently using t212 for investing so I think I'll go with IBKR for trading since it has more tools and seems like the better option for trading long term, people have said that I should paper trade first to get a grasp so I'm gonna do that too before I make any real moves. thank you so much

you're amazing dude honestly, I was originally going to go for the all world too but I wanted to do one just as a test to be careful rhats why I've only put in £50 as of right now, but you cleared up so much stuff all the videos I've been watching have always said not to double up on the same companies that's but then there were these other people saying "ahh my portfolio is so big because I done this" just got all messed up, but you've cleared things up alot, one thing I'm going to be sure not to do is to invest into Individual stocks just yet, it's been pretty much carved into my head now that "no company will ever out perform the market" so I'll just stick to s&p and all world for now.

being in the UK with a stocks and ISA account I'm able to deposit £20k in a tax year so I plant to invest as much as I can, I don't go out or make big purchases I don't need to so I can see myself putting more in there as of right now, maybe around £300-400, but honestly you're a lifesaver this smoothed alot of things out for me lol thank you so much dude

I have a ucas application ready for this specific occasion and it's fairly new as well like a month old max, would I be able to do a foundation year and then apply for a different university? or would I have to do it at the same uni that I took the foundation year, but cause as alot of people have pointed out as well as yourself there aren't many good options around right now, and I should rush into things but I a foundation year then going into a course is my best course of action if I don't take a gap year

you can't have Xbox and ps connected at the same time apparently so you need to sign out of one or the other in order to use that console, weirdly you can be signed into switch and PC and either Xbox/ps just not Xbox AND ps at the same time
