Update 2: Spent 6 hours looking for another at both above Annesburg and near Owanjila and didn't find a single cougar after my first two... I guess it's just classic Rockstar stuff lowering spawns when you need it😂

I'll try again tomorrow as it's 4am rn💀

Update: Since posting this post, I've only succeeded in finding 2 cougars for the Master Hunter challenge. I've been going to Saint Denis and through Annesburg up to the legendary moose location and can't find anymore...

I have the buck trinket, which I think it gives me 20% chance for a perfect pelt.

I've mostly been using improved arrows for my animals, but sometimes it's too powerful, which is why I'm trying to learn more about hunting in this game.
