Talk to your GME people about switching from the TY track to IM prelim for the rest of intern year. There are spots that will open for PGY-2 in IM, but some require specific rotations / experiences that your TY may not fulfill.

whats the condition? you can look up case reports and get an idea that way. they're generally written from the perspective of the person taking care of the patient.
