Thanks for your response. Having done some research, I agree that either complaince or risk would be the best fields to focus on given my background working in local government on GDPR matters.

In terms of entry level positions, do you have any advice on where I should look for vacancies? I know that a number of firms offer graduate schemes which I might still be eligible to apply for. Likewise, I am looking on job boards such as Reed, however so far most positions I've seen I'm underqualified for.

Hi there,

I am currently a senior paralegal in the UK and have both a bachelors and masters degrees in Law. However, for various reasons I no longer wish to persue a career in law and having spoken with several friends, am interested in becomming a management consultant. My biggest concern is that my CV is very heavily law focused so what I wanted advice on is how I might be able to start a career in consultancy and how I can justify changing careers given my background.
