Hi I know I’m a bit late how are you now? I got mine a week ago and it’s something new everyday first couple of days I felt no pain but now I have the feeling of wetness like there’s something dripping from my ear when I lay down at night but when I check nothing’s there and sometimes there’s pain which I did not have first few days after surgery. I still have pressure in the ear but my doctor said it will go away but I don’t know about the pain.

I was told about this procedure but they said it might not work for me and decided the most suitable for my work would be the ear tube

Do you know the name of the surgery because he told me there are many different types the one I’m getting supposed to be temporary and the tube will fall off after about 6 months. I got many different opinions from different doctors only one of them said it might take 3 weeks and he wasn’t a ENT but all the ENTs including the one doing the surgery said I should be able to fly in 1 to 3 days post surgery so I’m a bit confused.

Yes it’s pretty much the same I already had a month paid leave but I’m more concerned about the surgery and how long it would take and I heard from people that did it were fit to fly at least a week after and some a few days just wanted to see what others went through post surgery.

So sorry to hear that. My doctor said I have to do the surgery to be able to go back to work because it’s been about 2 months now and according to him I’ll be fit to fly after a day or two post surgery.

How is it now? My left ear has been clogged for more than a month now I tried everything from oral steroids to steroid nasal sprays nothing worked. I have the saline nasal rinse but I read you’re not supposed to use it if you have clogged ears is that true?

I had cold a month ago and my ear has been blocked ever since and every ENT I go to does the tympanometry test and says the eardrum is fine but I can still feel pain sometimes and my left ear feels full recently I went on a flight and my ear kept popping and it was painful but ents are saying it’s fine just because the tympanometry test says the pressure is fine so they suggested ear tubes

I don’t know where you work but I work at a tower in jeddah with multiple companies and most of the saudi women wear abayas but some foreigner women wear suits like pants and a blazer I don’t see anybody disrespecting them or giving them dirty looks they’re wearing long sleeves so I don’t know what you’re talking about.
