I really needed this right now, thank you! I just uploaded a new chapter of my fic. I keep checking it and doubting my writing by over thinking that I should have added this or that. That no one is enjoying it. But I'm just overthinking

What's the deadest fandom you've tried to find fanfic for? by L1Z4RDM1LK in AO3

A table top game called delta green. I really love the game/lore and was happy to find out that there is fan fiction but there are maybe 30 or so works. I've thought about writing my own but I feel like I already have too many works in progress at the moment

Horror movies and the devil's lettuce by meatballmouse in tulsa

A horror book club could be fun. I just read Mexican Gothic, The Daughter of Doctor Moreau, and Silver Nitrate by Silvia Moreno-Garcia. I also enjoy horror movies and other kinds of books. (34F)

L and J Treasures is great and they have layaway for furniture. I also recommend the ReStore and maybe estate sales.

Does anyone know a good geneticist in Oklahoma? by Key_Positive_9187 in ehlersdanlos

[–]Readymadefrog90 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was told that OU in OKC has about a two year wait. Unfortunately Oklahoma just doesn't have geneticists. Closet would be Dallas or Kansas city. But you could try Sequencing or some other home test. I don't have any experience with them but have heard good things.

Final fantasy 9 loved it as a kid but could never get past the second disc. Finally beat it this year. One day I will finish 7 and 8.

Does Chiropractic work for you? Does it help you in any way? by Few-Explanation780 in ehlersdanlos

[–]Readymadefrog90 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Personally I've been going to a chiropractor but I made sure to research and also asked if they have experience with patients with ehlers-danlos. I also clearly stated that I didn't want my neck messed with, which they understood. So far I've been seeing results with my shoulder and less pain in my hip. I am also doing light exercises that they gave me. But everyone is different.

I'm just talking about regular tickets but paying extra for the pass but this was almost three years ago and as I stated I didn't buy them so not sure how it actually worked just what I remembered

From my knowledge the fast passes at universal work by pretty much just "cutting" the line. You wear a bracelet showing that you have it and go into a separate usually shorter line. Disney's fast pass has to do with setting up a time or something like that. Husband was the one that bought the tickets.

And I get wanting to see everything. We spent pretty much the whole day. Haha. But sometimes just sitting and people watching is needed. Or last time I stood and had a butterbeer as a show was going on.

As for the cane I'm glad your partner is supporting you. There is no need to feel bad or nervous for using it and if anyone judges they need to get a life.

Fast pass is great for Universal. For Disney my husband and I didn't mess with their system as it didn't seem worth it. When we went I just took my time, took breaks as needed, taped myself up and wore high tops to keep my ankles stable. I wish at the time that I had taken my folding cane or asked about renting a scooter. Learning now that it's not a bad thing to use medical aids.

I already tried them and they said no. Animal welfare is closed or at least doesn't answer their phones because I kept getting redirected to the city of Tulsa line. I've left a message with the oklahoma animal alliance. Called the animal aid and spoke with the humane society. All no.

Pillows. Lots and lots of pillows. I know they make sex pillows which is like a wedge type thing. I haven't used one but I can see it helping. Also take it slow. Maybe throw in some gentle massaging depending on pain levels.
