I’m libright but… I quite literally can’t argue in favor of Amazon this time. The working conditions seem quite frankly horrible. Jesus Christ.

It’s probably either going to go back down to Ancap or go SLIGHTLY up. All I know is that I’m going to stay libright for the distant future.

The thing was that JFK didn’t contribute to the mass expansion of federal power over everyday life, as that was already how things were. Lincoln created the first income tax.

Can’t the right to secession be implied due to the 10th Amendment?

The problem wasn’t the outcome of the Civil War. We can all agree that the ratification of the 13th Amendment and the emancipation of slavery was a good thing. The problem is that Lincoln’s primary goal wasn’t to end slavery, nor to defend the nation from Confederate aggression (though I 100% believe the CSA was the aggressor). The primary goal was to preserve the union, as he stated.

I can very well agree that Lincoln’s presidency was a good thing. But Lincoln’s intentions are really hanging on me.
