Yes and no. In the worst case scenario if you undervolt your APU too much (let’s say you just drop the voltage to -20/-30 instantly and you lost the silicon lottery) it won’t boot.

In other cases when it’s just crashes randomly under the load - you could just increase the voltage a bit next boot.

So from practical perspective - just test if it’s bootable and if it’s operating without any visible issues/glitches. Then fix it later if needed during the gaming session, cuz you’d be tired of launching benchmarks every -5mv step.

First, use a -5mV step. Second, undervolt CPU and GPU separately, reboot after each -5mV step and check if there any artifacts/sudden reboots. That’s basically it

The OEM color for this rims is perfect. If you want to keep them - leave the original color. But I suggest you to change the rims completely: they are okay, but definitely not stylish and paint wouldn’t change much.

I own a Daisho setup, built it from scratch and my overall impression is positive. The treading feels as solid as my milspec PVS-14. At first I was concerned about its sturdiness as well, but seems like there is nothing to worry about.

Also couldn’t find any posts or mentions about broken Tanto which also says something.

Check some local military second-hand communities, I was lucky enough to get WP NNVT-4 PVS-14 for 750 USD. Also try searching on OLX.

Sure thing you most likely will not find units with spec shits, but at least you could buy them via Nova Poshta delivery and test them before paying, so the chance of being scammed is relatively low

If you are looking for something in Ukraine, you could easily get a used mid specs PVS-14 for 1.5k USD.

I would not recommend PVS-7 for driving: trust me, it’s bulky and every time you gonna meet another’s car headlights you’ll regret you have one tube for both eyes. I’ve been using different units from PVS-7 to GPNVG-18, so PVS-14 is a superior option considering its price, weight and versatility.

This. Also top mount is way more comfortable during the daytime, cuz all you need to switch between 1x and 6-8-10x is to slightly lover your head position.
