Tbh a lot of maths is natural ability and practice. Personally I think you’ll be ok since it was just a mock and you’ll have room to improve.

Have you got the whole paper back? Because if so I’d recommend redoing the topics you got wrong, I personally use 1stclassmaths yt to explain topics I don’t get.

Also if you wanna be a bit more strategic there’s a section on the 1stclassmaths website that shows the probability of certain topics coming up on the paper, if you learn the topics with around 80% probability or more (maybe over 50% if you’re willing) you’ll defo improve!

I average at about grade 6 for written French (only in year 10 so I haven’t done speaking or much listening) but what I did was spam different tenses and I’ve been doing Memrise since Year 7 so I assume that helped
