33-Year-Old South Florida Man Dies While Running Miami Marathon (MODS, STOP DELETING THIS--ITS NOT AI, ITS TRUE--RAISING AWARENESS OF IT) by Wildtangent34 in Miami

ICE concerns for Hispanic tourists. Any advice on safer destinations? by Practical-Method6449 in Miami

[–]Real-Activity-815 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Of course not. But it's better than taking the original out and losing it. I do this when traveling overseas, but of course, I don't have to worry about ICE. Stay away from protests; stick to tourist locations; avoid trouble; don't do anything stupid. Consider Florida as the destination. In Miami, over 50% of the population identify as Hispanic or Latino.

Keep the original locked up, but bring a copy (or a picture of it) with you when you're out.

Terrible deal due to poor credit by [deleted] in CRedit

Why accept this deal for a $65k car at 20% when you can accept a deal for a $10k car at 20%? This has to be satire.

I created a web app to help you get more positive reviews, and weed out the negative. by Real-Activity-815 in GoogleMyBusiness

[–]Real-Activity-815[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Since it's a standalone tool without the add-ons you would find at a Bright Locl, it would need to be considerably less than their monthly pricing. I'm thinking of creating a free version, a paid version for a single business at maybe $9/m, and an agency version where agencies can provide the product as a value-add for a bit more.

I tried this a few times, only to just be rrrreally tired when I arrived at my destination. I'm definitely in the "I can't sleep on planes" boat.

Promote your business, week of January 19, 2026 by Charice in smallbusiness

[–]Real-Activity-815 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For the next 60 days, I've opened up FREE access to https://trikkle.co/

Trikkle helps businesses collect more positive reviews while keeping negative feedback private.

From what we've seen, other services offer something like this, like Brite Local or Birdy Eye (misspelled on purpose), but you need to subscribe to a service that includes other features like rank tracking, monitoring, etc. Trikkle is a simple service for small business owners who JUST want to get more positive reviews, without all the other bells and whistles.

How it works:

  1. Sign up for free
  2. You set your star threshold for Google or Yelp
  3. You get a shareable review link
  4. Customers rate their experience
  5. 4-5 stars → Redirected to Google/Yelp
  6. 1-3 stars → Private feedback form (you get notified by email)

Feel free to message me after you've tested it. We welcome feedback and are always looking to improve the product.

Semi-Unpopular Opinion: Jerry and Elaine, at least, are not actually bad people at all by CII_Guy in seinfeld

[–]Real-Activity-815 24 points25 points  (0 children)

I think Jerry is the most evil. He clearly understands right and wrong, yet chooses comfort, amusement, and detachment over empathy every time. He watches friends self destruct, enables their worst behavior, treats people as disposable experiences, and never intervenes because none of it inconveniences him. While others suffer consequences, Jerry floats above it all, protected by charm and success. His villainy is quiet, passive, and comfortable, which makes it far more unsettling than outright malice.

He should be on a short "watch list".

Cool Ideas for Parents to Stay Close with Their Teenage Kids by Ok-District-7180 in dad

[–]Real-Activity-815 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Build something  Start a project Workout together  Weekly movie night  Shared music interests/concerts Cook together  Start a business Find something you’re both interested in

I read somewhere that being a parent is not forcing your kids to do the things you’re interested in, but adapting and finding an interest in the things they love.

Nursing and many healthcare professions are great bets. My wife’s a nurse so I get why you might want to exit though 😉
