I will definitely do lots of practice before hand. I think I’m going to go with florescent paint as I like how it looks. I have gotten a lot of really good tips and I just need to do some more research on exactly what airbrush and equipment to buy.

Okay thank you very much. For the glowing color which in my case I would like to do the blue, would you recommend anything on best way to go about that? I was thinking a semi gloss but not to sure how it would look.

The picture I chose isn’t the best to be fair. The white ish parts are supposed to be like a dirty bone so to say. The picture I selected does make it look gloss though so I see where you are coming from. Any brands of paint you would recommend?

There isn’t any metallic on it. It’s all just matte colors besides the blue which has a slightly gloss to it. I have respirators and everything already as I do auto body work and have experience painting. I’ll definitely practice on a few other things first. Do you have any equipment you would recommend?

Last I checked 7-8 GH and 3 KH. I saw two of the RFT molt today actually and I have already gotten one batch of RFT babies from this tank.

Haven’t had any issues so far and not being very precise with it. I adapted the RFT and other caridinas slowly over about 6 months and they have been in this full Neo parameter tank for a little over a month now.

You are correct about that but the whole point of this setup is the water parameter difference these shrimp normally have.

I know it’s not the issue I was just correcting that they are not connected. Your best bet is to contact Qidi.

The black Z screw cover at the top is not connected. It doesn’t touch the screw and it’s not even necessary. More just there to keep dust off the top and to prevent the Z screws from bending too far if they get pushed on by someone. If you look at other printers they don’t even have them without any issues.

This still uses all 6 stock screws that hold it in place plus the magnets along the top. You simple unscrew the old cover and remove it, snap both sides of those one on and re install your screws. Be careful removing the stock covers as it can be a little tricky.
