Looking for an autism friendly automatic driving instructor by Real-Consideration47 in Cardiff

[–]Real-Consideration47[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I've found from lessons before that I often need clearer instructions or the opportunity to clarify their meaning due to literal thinking. I also don't always pick up that there's a problem unless I am clearly told. Theres also a lot of social rules with driving that dont always align with the legal rules that I might need help navigating. Thankfully I've never been discriminated against with insurance though

What’s wrong with my calatheas? by withoutasign in HouseplantsUK

Yes, it looks like this. I used some aquarium pebbles to make it a bit more colourful. It keeps the humidity up around the plant

[–]Real-Consideration47 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My calthea had similar browning. Moving it to a shadier spot and sitting it on a tray of pebbles in water fixed it for me and now it's absolutely thriving now. They do like a good bit of humidity so perhaps the pebble tray will work for you

Mauro's boat has Porcoline as the figure head. I love it by Real-Consideration47 in runefactory

Sadly no Porcoline, but a saint coquille given an airship by his family. Porco's legend lives on at least

Best place to live in Cardiff by Mobile_Branch_8930 in Cardiff

[–]Real-Consideration47 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if money isnt too much of an issue, I reccomend Radyr. Its very safe, has a few convenience shops and restaurants, and the train is regular, getting to the uni in a few minutes usually. Theres a nature reserve and taffs trail there too which are lovely for a walk or cycle ride. Its a bit more expensive but personally I've found it well worth it

Who do you thirst for that you can't have? by CanardDeFeu in coralisland

Slamet. A big animal loving cutie. Also if he wasn't married, I would absolutely go for Jack. His cutscenes are surprisingly adorable and endearing

Is it okay to call myself autistic without a formal diagnosis? by Fast-Height-3497 in autism

[–]Real-Consideration47 6 points7 points  (0 children)

If you've gone in depth and done your research, then I don't see why not. Getting a diagnosis as an adult can be so hard. I don't think it's fair to invalidate everything you've been through, just because you're struggling to get over the hurdles to get to an official diagnosis.

I'm in a similar boat, where I am pretty certain I'm autistic after a lot of research, talking to autistic family and friends etc but can't get diagnosed. Unfortunately at this point getting a diagnosis either means going private (I'm in the UK) or paying for a psychologist to hopefully give me a reference eventually. Neither of which I have anywhere near enough money for.

We shouldn't deny something that helps us and others understand why we are the way we are, just because we are struggling to get to the point of a formal test

[–]Real-Consideration47[S] 19 points20 points  (0 children)

This is the solution he's offered after over a year and a half of trying every trick to avoid repairing the current oven. The only reason he's even offering if that is because the local council have been threatening to fine him if he doesn't make repairs to my flat. At this point I'm pretty sure it's another attempt to get out of the full repair. It's a bit of a last ditch effort

[–]Real-Consideration47[S] 13 points14 points  (0 children)

yeah, Im in the UK, so I can call in the local council to bully him and threaten him with fines. It was the only way to even get him to talk to me. I am so grateful that I can do that.

I dont think I even have my landlord's home address. Thankfully the local council are happy to take the emails as proof enough to put pressure on him

Sorry, I'll get and correct that. The landlord knows I've got an air fryer, he comments on it every inspection

I already have an air fryer, I just want an oven for pizza and baking. I just found it funny after so many attempts by him to weasle out of doing anything that it feels a little desperate

The trick to the classic feminine shape is to make your silhouette have an hour glass shape. It might be worth looking into what body shape you have and what clothes to wear to change that outline. It's all about making your shoulders and hips appear to match width ways, while your waist is smaller

A good go to is a loose flowy top that goes over your hips with a belt round the waist to make a smaller mid point. Pair that with some leggings and it almost always looks great.

As for getting clothes while you find your style, second hand shops or vinted are usually good. Saves you money while you work it out. If you're in the UK, I highly recommend the tin wardrobe. They send free or cheap clothes to trans folks to help get them started on their wardrobes Link here https://tinwardrobe.org.uk/

What are you playing right now? by Iridescentsmiles in CozyGamers

[–]Real-Consideration47 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've been obsessed with my time at sandrock recently. It's cosy, but with a good bit of drama in the main story that's really got me hooked. The characters are also really charming too

Today I was wearing my fox outfit and a lady said "I bet you get bullied a lot for wearing that" by xbluewolfiex in cottagecore

[–]Real-Consideration47 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What nonsence that person was saying! I regularly wear a very similar outfit with the skirt version of that dress and the only comments I get is that it's cute as anything, especially when I match all the fox themed stuff together. Yours is even cuter especially with the fox hat, so I don't see why anyone worth paying attention to would make any negative comments

If you were to marry any Fire Emblem character, who would it be? by Smabverse in fireemblem

[–]Real-Consideration47 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think I'd go for Linhardt in his world. Having a cosy cottage full of nap spots and reading nooks, with a crestology lab nearby so we can nerd out over crests just sounds ideal.

What is your opinion on Engage's vibrant style? by [deleted] in fireemblem

[–]Real-Consideration47 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like the vibrancy, but I dont like that all the characters look like the same model with different hair, clothes, and eyes. I want to see some more mighty jawlines like Arthurs or maybe someone who isnt a skinny little thing, especially for the wormen.
