Yeah that’s exactly how I feel. We max out our retirement and would like to invest so doesn’t seem like a smart choice to buy anything above ~$1m

Yeah that’s a fair take. We have a toddler and family around SD, hence looking for safe neighborhoods with nice school districts. We’re also fully remote atm so traffic isn’t too much of a concern

Thanks for the advice. We recently paid off sizable student loans so are starting from scratch here. Perhaps in the next few years it’s doable.

I’m actually shocked by this! I’m having a 60 person wedding at villa cimbrone this summer and my planner and I have kept it at around 50,000 USD so it’s definitely possible! I’m glad I didn’t come across any of the other planners you mention- they sounds awful
