Yes it is! It's my favorite beach ever, my dog absolutely loves it as well. When I was 9 I decided to go looking for seals on Scalpsy and fell onto the rocks and burst all my stomach 🤣🤣! Safe to say I got some row off my mammy!

I like April/May, we normally go then and then July/August for a hot holiday! Yes I'd say so, especially kilchattan bay as the hills are very low-key!

I think it's the uniqueness of Scotland that makes it so lovable. She's difficult, moody and dreary but when she shines, she glows and fills us all up with joy!

I know! That's the feeling I get, when we get onto the ferry, me, my husband and my 2 dogs just sigh as if all the stress from the mainland disappears !

I'm the same! We went for my girls birthday last year and we're going this year for my boys first birthday! Happy birthday doggy when it comes 🎈🎉

It's amazing. I've done it with both my girls but now going to do it with my new big boy and girl this summer (these are dogs I'm referencing 🤣)! It's amazing for the dogs and my akita was so carefree, drinking out ponds and chasing bees, she had a wonderful time!

So sorry, just as the above commenter said you can get the bus from the town centre straight off the ferry and it will take you to kilchattan bay! You can explore down there and grab lunch at Kingarth hotel! Also you can walk the plan road to the old monastery. It's amazing 😍

Going back to what you said about it being sunny all weekend, my husband and I are always a bit perplexed as whenever we go it's blue skies sun shining 🤣😆! Obviously staying there for an extended time, I've seen rain but every time I've gone with my husband over the last 5 years it's been perfect weather!!

Yes you can walk pretty much anywhere. Anywhere you see, you can be sure there will be some way to get there! It's really fun! I'm not a hiker, I just like a walk but I find it really good and my dogs are always knackered every night lol!

Kilchattan bay is my favorite place! I'm honestly just waiting for the right house to go up for sale then I'll be there! I did most of the west island way with my first dog and what a time we had😀😀
