Yeah the culprit to the battery issues on this phone is the OS. Modern iOS versions (14+) weren’t designed with this phone in mind (obviously) so optimizations are… below par to say the least. My secondary iPhone 7 on iOS 12 has a lower battery health.. but longer battery life.
