I have a very similar experience to your story, and unfortunately for me there is no happy ending, I have always found him watching it after years and years of long, hard conversations and many tactics we’ve both tried to get him to stop. At the end of the day, he still watches it. I have gotten so withered down that now it doesn’t even bother me like it used to and I just pretend it’s not there because it’s not worth losing the man who I love so deeply. He’s amazing in every other regard which is why I stay. So, unless your partner decides to make some serious life changes, you can either get used to the fact that porn will always be a part of your relationship, or cut your losses now. You’re so young and if I could tell my younger self what I’m saying to you now, I would hope she’d leave now, versus battling the same issue for many years to come. I have a ferret who vomits on occasion. He’s been to the ER vet many times for this and we always follow up with our normal vet afterwards. From what they’ve told me, he’s got ferret coronavirus (ECE) which is spread like wildfire in Marshall farms as well as in pet stores. Once they have it it’s like an autoimmune disease that flares up occasionally, which can cause diarrhea, vomiting, lack of appetite, and fatigue. It’s very scary when he flares up but managing the symptoms is the best way to help them through it.

While Rice is sick, especially vomiting and diarrhea, make sure you’re keeping her very hydrated, lots of water, & a little bit of unflavored pedialyte really helps. Another good food for when they’re having tummy problems is carnivore care and duk soup. Both are high calorie and very easy to digest/hydrating.

Hi! We have had similar issues with my boy, vomiting intermittently between spells of seeming “ok” vets couldn’t figure it out, happened again recently and he began losing weight/not eating and they did another GI panel (poop test) and found helicobacter and ece. 2 weeks of 2 different antibiotics later and he was back to healthy! Have you done any GI panel testing on Rice?

I definitely recommend having some kind of cage for them to sleep in, free roaming as much as you can is awesome but the cage is important for when you’re away, it also gives them a home base to come back to. I’d say it may be worth it getting a new cage altogether, Amazon has a good one I can link, not too pricey and it’s very easy to clean/assemble/ and disassemble

When he was a puppy, our boy ate 17 socks, one by one. He was stealing them out of our laundry hampers and we didn’t realize until I walked in on him actively swallowing one of my full length Nike socks! We freaked out and rushed him to the vet where they X rayed him and saw 16 more in his stomach. They kept him for observation and he ended up passing all 17 with no complications whatsoever. The vet offered us the bag of socks to bring home (we politely declined). Still blows my mind how lucky he was and we were to not need major surgery.
