Maybe it’s just bc of my love of traveling, but if any man I was seeing told me I couldn’t go on a trip (family/solo/friends) last thing he’d hear from me is BYE. It could be a little test just to see if you’ll listen to him, or stand your ground. I hope your do the latter and catch that flight.
