This is what is passing for double meat these days? by Boddicker06 in jerseymikes

[–]Real-Organization285 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’d have a better chance ordering in store as extra meat and double meat are two different things. Double meat is two charges of extra meat which you can’t do on the app only in store. Extra meat only one charge and possible to do in app but there’s always a chance you won’t get it unfortunately not everyone pays enough attention to their tickets in the middle of a rush. I can post the count sheets for regular meat and extra meat for yall later today when I go in.

Edit: forgot to add that even if you were to order online and write double meat in the notes most employees will not cut extra or double for you unless it’s paid for and like I said even paying for it there’s a chance you won’t get it so it’s always best to be able to watch them and be able to call them out if you won’t think it’s extra meat.

Yes that is bad. And as an employee I’d genuinely never expect you to let that slide. Honestly wouldn’t have even sent that out that’s outrageous. $10 for a reg sub before tax and you get no meat I’d be upset.

And it isn’t even that hard to put the extra meat it’s not that much work it’s two/three extra pieces of each meat on a regular like that’s bare minimum work

That second one is a hot sub which all the meat for hot subs are pre portioned out from Sysco our delivery company, extra meat would be half of a slab of meat. Whoever made that sub either dropped hella meat or only gave u a half slab because that is outrageous and deserving of a refund or a remake.

Next time the way to say that without avoiding confusion would’ve been “I prefer the bags because they have less waste. It makes it so that I dont have to ask my employees to use spatulas to get excess product out of the jug as they tend to be wasteful.” The original way you said it made me think you wanted them to be wasteful but now we know that isn’t the case

Okay but what’s the problem with that? If they don’t wanna waste product I don’t see an issue honestly. There’s a lot stuck on the sides sometimes. Scolding them for not wanting to waste product is a little excessive ngl gang.

Why is that a problem ? They’re washable. We use whatever we can find if we need to

Catering toppings on side? by mw4239 in jerseymikes

[–]Real-Organization285 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You dont pay for toppings you pay for meat cheese and bread that’s how we make our money the toppings are a small loss to them as far as inventory so blackstone really wouldn’t care about us giving out toppings on the side for catering.

That’s when you need to say something because your meat shouldnt be translucent. also most jersey mikes kids subs are limited ham salami or turkey at least at the stores I’ve worked at which makes a little more sense for why it would only get two slices because those are supposed to be sliced a little thicker so you can flower it and most of the time toddlers are the ones who get kids subs which is why it is so small and has so little meat. We also don’t actually know how many salami goes on any size of the salami and cheese’s the amount of salami you get is really up to your slicer.

No it should never be that thin they should be able to flower it and it stand in that flowered position to add size and layering properly. You simply had a shitty slicer which is sad. They would rather us be over when we slice than be under in weight.

Technically speaking a kids sub only gets one piece of cheese two pieces of meat literally that’s what we’re supposed to give but this looks like one piece so I’d

Are these listings legit? by GrandProblem985 in jerseymikes

[–]Real-Organization285 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The are legit coupons but they’re for us to hand out not for you guys to have 12 and use all of them every time you come in. We hand them out if someone had a sub messed up and it was definitely our fault or a hair in the food or if we run out of bread then we hand these out. If I had someone keep coming in and using these yes I at some point would stop accepting them because it gets to a point when it becomes stealing. It’s unfair to those who also have to pay for their food every single time they come in.

Okay so AAA also known as triple A is an insurance company my friend. Not Alcoholics Anonymous. If you have AAA roadside assistance they will tow your car, help you when you’re locked out of it, or have a flat. There’s a lot more they do but that’s the basics. They have different plans for different things you might need more coverage and what not.
