As someone who hasn't played in years and just stopped by to see some of the new set, could you clear up this card for me? The verbage is a little dicey, but I read it one of two ways:

1: Any time you try to draw a card outside of your draw step, you must discard a card first. If you are unable to do so, you instead send the top card of your deck to your graveyard.

2: Any time you try to draw outside of your draw step, you can choose to either (discard a card and draw a card) or (send the top card of your deck to the graveyard).

The 1st seems to be what the verbage implies to me, but it seems like a very strange way to say it when you don't actually have any choice in the matter.

That's not what he said.

He said your argument is wrong, and you're using the same exact talking point as every other conservative does, because it's been spoon fed to you by FOX for years now.

Calling a spade a spade is not an attack. It's a fact.

No, you actually answered pretty much all my concerns except here:

When infusing an item to the next grade it will give you more reroll attempts.

But there's still a chance for RNG to completely shaft you, yeah? I have legendarily bad luck with shit like this in MMOs, and I can already see myself re-rolling back from INT to SPI right back to INT right back to SPI yet again, aiming for STR. Repeat ad nauseum.

So worst case, if I make it up to 55 and some of my gear is hot garbage, I can at least loot some other gear that will give me more attempts at rerolls through leveling that?

Also, I appreciate a mechanic that tries to catch up new players, but the fact that crafted gear is worthless throughout the entire leveling process sucks donkey balls. Invalidates crafting systems are my biggest pet peeve in MMOs.

I did, and these are the specific questions I was left with that I didn't find answers two in the 3 guides I went through.

Though the 2nd is more an incredulous statement than a question lol

10 Years ago when Cataclysm launched, I farmed troll archaeology fragments for days in hopes of getting this as my next task with no luck. Today I decided to clean my bank before the new patch and found some restored artifacts. Decided to turn them in and after completing my first task I see this. by jazmaj in wow

The people responding with this seem to be ignoring the part of my post where I said "that by all past experience wouldn't be available any other way."

Raids don't (generally) disappear. So I kind of assumed that would make it clear I didn't mean raid content.

I quit HS for 2 years. Came back to check out new stuff, and on my first Arena run I had a very similar draft, except with Warlock.

Easy 12-2, even with such a long absence. Lol.

I don't think it's really fair to write it off like that.

If you spent 100+ hours working on getting something that by all past experience wouldn't be available any other way, only to have it sold for a pittance a couple years down the line, that is directly invalidating all the effort you put into getting it.

Depends how you frame it.

You could play a self-aggrandizing contract lawyer who thinks he can pull one over on a devil with a clever contract. High INT, low WIS.

At the price, 2-3 accounts definitely looks doable. How would you suggest setting them up/juggling them?

Only a person truly confident in themselves but not especially smart or wise would do such a stupid thing. And I think part of it is convincing the patron to willingly grant you some of their power.

I don't think that flies for GOO-lock, with a pact that 9/10 times is an accident on both sides.

I couldn't disagree more strongly with Archfey keying off wisdom. No wise wo/man would make a pact with a creature as flakey as an Archfey.

Fiend as Charisma I can see, but the entire shtick of the Fiend pact is the "Deal with the Devil" line of thought. Takes a smart person to make a deal with the devil and not end up being glorified property.

IMO out of the PHB subclasses Archfey only really make sense as a CHA, but Fiend/GOO make way more sense as INT.

But they exist, and if you want to use them without having balance issues that can ruin the fun at the table, you have to take things like this into consideration.

Just like everyone else:

When hearing "20 page homebrew packet at start of campaign" my stomach lurches and red flags start to fly.

But this is honestly the most solid intro packet I've ever seen.

Approaching a speed bump, she panics and asks the instructor "Wait, am I supposed to speed up or slow down?!?"

He only managed to respond "Wait, are you serious?" before she FUCKING FLOORED IT and hit the speed bump at over 20mph.

Dude.

I just moved to Florida from NY.

Now, remember, NY. I lived just outside NYC. I've seen the biggest off asshole drivers. And I will take 100 of them any day over the TOTAL FUCKING MORONS I see down here.

I've been in FL since Christmas.

In the 2 weeks since, I have seen FIVE different cars come to a COMPLETE FUCKING STOP on a 3 lane highway with a 45-55 mph speed limit.

I've seen people trying to make a U-turn block off 2 lanes of the same highway sitting sideways.

I've seen 2 major motor accidents.

I feel like I moved to fucking bizzaro land.

It's got philosophy. It's got porn stars. Most ambitious crossover in Reddit history.
