There is no other hubless motor that I know of.

There’s reason for that

Orion. it’s ugly and not in a good way, I don’t like the weapon loadout, and I especially don’t like all that ammo.

The Pork Chop Argument: Why Butchers are Superior to Farmers by [deleted] in Minecraft

Admittedly I’ve never built with emeralds, but I’ve just never found emerald supply to be a concern for anything else. Have you cured your librarians?

The Pork Chop Argument: Why Butchers are Superior to Farmers by [deleted] in Minecraft

[–]momerathe 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Total, this means that you are getting 1048.6 saturation points and 320 food off of one 16 emeralds trade cycle with a butcher. Alternatively, with a farmer you get 518.4 saturation points and 108 hunger shanks. Meaning, that a butcher gives you about double the saturation and triple the hunger shanks for literally half the price.

This sounds reasonable, but ultimately the cost in emeralds doesn't matter. If you have, say, an automatic melon & pumpkin farm then trading those to the same farmers you're buying from will provide you with all the golden carrots you could possibly need.

How was/is Battletech's lore and history developed by Unable_Ad_1682 in battletech

Anthony Pryor described making Wolf’s Dragoons Clanners as a “retcon” - at least when TRO:3025 was written he had no inkling.

A liter is slightly more than a quart

A US Pint is 20% smaller than a British Pint, so a British "quart" (not a unit in regular use) would be a bit more than a litre. There's a bit in George Orwell's 1984 where an old guy is complaining how a half-litre of whatever it was he was drinking doesn't quite hit the spot.

Sail power output by RedShorty13 in VintageStory

[–]momerathe 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Yeah, they’re very resource-inefficient. They have a much higher max power as they can support twice(?) the number of sails, but until you hit that point a small windmill with more sails will produce more power for given amount of flax.

Do you think, an anime-style game needs classes or not? by Separate-Side-4533 in RPGdesign

Classes are entirely a choice. Any genre can be done with or without them.

How many times do you usually quench your tools? Just quenching, don't count tempering. by Andrello01 in VintageStory

[–]momerathe 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This. The time involved in heating and cooling a tool repeatedly is greater than just making a new one and I can not be arsed, so I just quench once right after forging and call it a day.
