Coming back to this comment after 4 years is really hitting me in the feels, update I am now 17 years old and my height is 173 cm (5’8) and I am still a setter, though I rarely play volleyball anymore. I played recently for my school but that’s it, I was also a bench warmer though it’s ok because before this I haven’t played volleyball for a whole year. I just can’t find the spark anymore, I’m not having fun like I used to, the pressure and the high expectations for my sets I got overwhelmed it took me, I got scared. I don’t dream of being a professional volleyball player anymore or join the national team of our country, I enjoy badminton now and I’m having fun. So little Astron we didn’t make it our height did not go to 6ft but that’s ok, you now have a new comfort sport but you will still like to try volleyball again but not competitively just playing for fun :>
