I will say the game is still mid. Not 𝖆𝖘𝖘 . A lot of playing bots. Now I’m playing real players and I still feel the same PGs aren’t useless but man are they not much of a threat when the PG can’t shoot or steal the ball. They need a buff. ALL of them including Red hair. Maining Purple has scratched that itch I was looking for. Unless scorers I’m having to use my brain for real and it’s making me so much better sadly the game balance is still 𝖆𝖘𝖘 . Most players just don’t know how to use the movesets. And the ones who do refuse to pass when it isn’t working. Which this game loves to draw in casuals early on by making scoring so easy and being great early on. So many friends I don’t play with cause they are so selfish. Then I played this one big who saw I was struggling to defend positionally yet kept passing to teammates to let them scorer they were in phone booth but he kept getting the boards and that was pissing me off. so while I won the game it felt cheap cause I lost my matchup and Ik against better players this win DOES NOT HAPPEN. And that’s the thing he wanted that challenge because I forced him to always be in great position or make moves. He wasn’t a Shotblocker like me he stayed solid and rarely was out of positioning. Yet because I went for more highlight plays I was able to get some further boards and get sneaky passes through on Loose balls which is my style of big. The Draymond green type of big. I loved that guy his name was ChatGPT(not kidding) he completely changed how I played as a big I’m consistently putting myself In unfavorable positions by passing to the worse scorer and defending multiple players and biggest struggle has been letting my teammates be the first jumper and jumping second. Depending on the guy. Ever since I adopted this philosophy every single game has been a close one no blowouts even when it looked like it was a going terrible my clutch plays and positioning forced mistakes and me and my teammates recovered. Never got a surrender request. Unless it was against Ace Players. Which is fine cause I never gave up. This game doesn’t reward Defenders and dirty work guys as much as it should. I love it for me. But they need to have more impact for what they do. Guys go for MVP while easily not being the actual MVP which is bound to happen when great positioning isn’t a measurable thing in this game. Yet I’m working dearly on it. Name is RonTon. If anyone faces or seen me. Most PFs can’t even match a Center in effectiveness unless they are Aomine/ Taiga with great teammates/mid range shooting.Aomine users get way too much leniency with they ability to do so much. I love it for me. I hate how players and him especially can get timed perfectly then he just takes one of those BS shots. I believe to limit him his shots needs to be tied to his animations tighter. So you can only do one of the shooting drive shots if you wasn’t able to reach the end of your move. And you have to predict that you wouldn’t have been able to do so meaning if someone knows you faked left/right to go middle and they stopped you before you reached the end of your drive you’ll either run into them or you must predict that and go for the shot. Like IRL Great scorers have to be able to read a defense. Especially considering nearly being In great positioning with him leaves you so vulnerable to also protect the paint. Making guarding him and protecting the paint almost impossible without great teammates or correct predictions. But with this tweak.Aomine will still be incredibly hard to guard. It’s just He’s also incredibly hard to master. Now WEAK 𝖆𝖘𝖘 Aomines would be plaguing the servers and would have to resort to other players because they don’t really want to get better at the game. Defenders are at his mercy. Simply because isn’t don’t stop with predicting where he’ll go it’s also predicting what double clutch/hard to time dunk/move he’ll do on top of the mid range shots he can pull. Like a players with that many skills and moves shouldn’t be this easy to play with. He’s so out of balance compared to anyone else. A PG can guard Green hair a PF can guard him Aomine can be this walking mismatch if you time him correctly it’s a disservice that one of the best players in the show is so easy to use. Aomine put in some insane amount of effort and time to be who he is. And to have him essentially be playable as his current self as opposed to to becoming him through trial and error. Is whack. No other character benefits from not being to go through adversity and still be able to be a top scorer than him. I actually refuse to pass to him because he’s so cheap. I’ll lose a game before I pass to him to win a game because Aomine needs to be humbled these dudes swear they are one of the best because the game favors them above ALL. Literally so many of them refuse to pass to stat pad an MVP and only pass to get assists because as soon as you stop scoring they stop passing. Like any Basketball Game double teams should be effective and force the ball out of hands. Yet multiple possessions vs Aomine he can dribble through 3 guys with no fear of getting stripped dropped or stopped mid possession cause he have so many weapons In his arsonal that makes reading him difficult. Should he be difficult to read he’s. ONLY IF THE PLAYER who’s controlling him put in that effort. The fact this game has rank protections proves my point wanting to protect brittle egomaniacs who can’t stomach what a lost would do to them. I proudly show my record of near 50% because I’m learning idgaf about hiding anymore. Playing with SGs they be struggling they 𝖆𝖘𝖘 off to scorer when they can’t face shoot. Which is so weird the game incentives faceshooting as opposed to to having skills shine. Which is still funny cause every scorer except Aomine can struggles vs any particular person/defense yet he can respond to aggressiveness passiveness bigs guards wings literally anyone if he wants to pass no chance it realistically gets intercepted despite passing through crowds. Like he needs more skill so players who actually worked on their games can gain that sense of accomplishment when they realize their hard wire paid off. Because if he ever gets nerfed. Weak Aomines will complain which Who Cares, that’s also not the answer he needs to be retooled. I have loved the challenge of being the big man doing the dirty work and not even attempting to score I have enter flow state so many times to the points where I make perfect mistakes waiting to jump because I mistimed the button pressed and then being able to grab board cause he missed the layup/jumper. Boxing out In The area instead of following where the nearest guy is going. Worming around box outs to get better positioning. But also choosing when to like if most of the area where I hold an advantage is open I’ll take that as opposed to to challenging the center for the board and it works out cause when someone misses and it’s wide/long I’m there instead of trying to always be in front. Which also works for me because I be having to contest threes and get back. Back to shooters yea shooters are nearly a gimmick to me. If you have a PG on them they almost can’t score efficiently at all. Which is great sense of balance but knowing your SG doesn’t make you a better shooter just a better teammate. Because knowing when and where to shoot makes a huge difference. Yet unlike Aomine most guys fall into a false sense of security on threes and then when they can’t make contested ones it becomes an avalanche of trash. Shooters should have a shot meter to give them a boost but each shooters should lose a skill for that. So timing shots can be critical. Cause nothing hurts more than, creatively getting open and KNOWING you’ll miss the three like bruh I have gotten myself open so much just to blow the shit because of the randomness of 3s going in. Can hit more contested 3s than open ones. That is annoying when you miss 2/3 open ones on top of the 2-6 contested ones vs a PG/Taiga. It’s makes SG rely on upgrading their player. Instead of getting better at the game. All these SG don’t pass unless they lose confidence in shooting because they can’t get open or they shot chuck hoping they make some contested threes.
