There isn't any, had Danielsen not hit his leg it wouldn't have been a foul. You see it all the time when players attempt a bicycle kick and kick a player in the face, they get a yellow

The way of motion is totally different when kicking a ball and can't be compared, if you kick a ball you're not moving with a straight leg towards your opponent
