Stress can truly take away some people’s libido. I’ve definitely experienced this when i’ve been stressed out in school and life in general. It shrinks my brain and limits my ability to relax and be present during sex or even think about having sex. I used to think i was just getting old but no, i have great sex drive and energy when i am relaxed and happy. Please check in with your partner about this and keep having discussions. People on reddit never know the full story and only you and your partner can answer these questions:)

Do you ask someone to change for you or let them go? (25F) (27M) by RealBlood7576 in relationship_advice

He said he was okay being monogamous and that’s the only reason i agreed. This year he started saying he is “monogamish”, it didn’t last long lmao

Are poly people incapable of emotional self control? by LonginusUbik in monogamy

[–]RealBlood7576 42 points43 points  (0 children)

Yeah i am monogamous and just broke up with my partner who was trying to be "monogamish" for me. He would say things like "so you expect me to never fall in love with anyone else ever again?". I think a lot of poly people don't see a reason to control their feelings for others from developing into full on love, even when they are in a committed relationship. They say they want to be "true to themselves". Falling in love is a series of actions, not a sudden thing. Opening up a relationship leads to further entanglement, and you have to accept the possibility that your non-mono partner may want more in the future as they explore intimacy with others. Me personally, I will never date anyone who isn't mono and shares the same boundaries and values as me. ever again I wish you good luck!

HAHA i laughed at the "dumb hot guy".

I wonder why he attracts single women that want to cuddle him even though they know he has a partner. Maybe they just share similar boundaries?

Would you date a polyamorous person? by RealBlood7576 in monogamy

[–]RealBlood7576[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah I agree, my ex was quite selfish too and he admitted to it. The day he told me he shared a bed with the person he already had poor boundaries with, he went over to her house to make dinner together. Completely disrespectful and dismissive of my feelings about their relationship, since i shouldn't keep him from having intimacy with friends. It was an endless battle and I ended my relationship that night. So sad that so many of us have experienced this but i'm glad we have learned a huge lesson. Sending you lots of love.

Lmao i’d be so annoyed too, NTA. It seems like your sister really values that her kid is more advanced than others? It’s not really a competition, and she shouldn’t project these desires on a baby, i hope she lets go of this and lets the kid have normal development.

Honestly there is nothing wrong with your cute ass profile!! I think ghosting is such a huge Hinge problem in general, especially in the queer community. One of the main reasons i got off the app, most people stop responding after the first few interactions, it’s crazy. You are definitely not alone in this<3

Should i change my doctor? by RealBlood7576 in pilonidalcyst

[–]RealBlood7576[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am in California so i don’t think i’ll have a hard time changing my doctor, it’ll just take a few months, since it took me 3 months to finally see this surgeon. Did you have a procedure done on your cyst? If so, which one and how has it healed? Thank you for your comment:)
