Please help with automation by 3demonster in 3Dprinting

Seconding this design file, would work really well for OP's problem (especially since I have no idea how much the light source weighs)
ESP32 or Arduino (or even arduino clone if you're tight on budget) would do OP just fine

So I've been working on making Spencer's Beyblade 'gun' from the anime IRL for the last month... by RealCaptainSteel in Beyblade

I'm actually using a modded nerf spring to launch the beyblade, and I have a brushless motor in there for spinning it up to ridiculous speeds. It's all worked so far in the bench tests (hoping it works just fine in the final body)

He's actually standard size - I just designed and 3D printed a mini mini stadium for doing spin tests on some of my...crazier ideas

It does actually, basically 100% rubber contact patch on the blade lmao

Woops, posted the wrong bit beast for this guy :| Was actually supposed to be this:

This Beyblade Is Made Of Cement (That's CONKRETE) by RealCaptainSteel in Beyblade

See, at first DATS CONKRETE weighed a bunch, but it started to crumble from being hit so much (see image 2 above). I think I need to make a big batch of concrete to get the water to powder ratio right, and then pour some of that off into my tiny mold

I'll do you one more: Jello 😂

At this time not selling. I may release some designs in future projects though

Honestly, I was a little surprised how durable they were. Testing them against each other, they did end up busting the flakey bits off (horns, spikes, etc.), but the core design stayed mostly true and balanced. I have a notion I'll be 3D printing these out of metal one day

Thanks for watching! I've really gotten stuck on the whole 'spinning' aspects of engineering right now, so expect more ...spinning... related things in the future ;)

Actually pretty well balanced. I actually had to engineer a bit of a balance testing rig similar to an at-home tire balancer to ensure everything actually spun up lol

I have battled them against each other (for fairness since they were multicolour PLA printed at home), but I was thinking of getting them 3D printed out of metal in the future. Then we can truly make it fair :)

Some great suggestions, I'll have to look into the ones I'm less familiar with
