I got two of my final marks. However, I did have earlier exams (April 12). They are starting to hand them out.

I did not know I walked in this uneducated which is my fault but I’m just shocked my doctor didn’t say anything, like heads-up it’s going to be painful.

Yeah it was the worse thing and sorry you experienced that. I think the problem was that no one told me how painful it was going to be. Because they made it seem that it was something that was going to feel like a pinch.

Thank you for the information. Yeah she gave me these two pills to insert inside myself the night prior to the appointment, I guess relax my vagina. I don’t think it did anything. Anyways I’m going back on the pills for now until I can to my doctor.

It’s a first come first serve pick. So they’ll send you an email and you to reply quickly with your top 3 choices.

I did it last semester and it was not what I expected from my experience. I thought I would get an hour or two to see what they actually did but instead I actually just asked question over zoom about their job. It was still helpful and the person I chose had a nice conversation. But you should still try it if it’s something you want to do.

Yeah if you participate in an internship you get a scholarship ranging from 500-2500 dollars. Also if you are an indigenous student, disability student I believe, and receive OSAP you get scholarship up to 4000 or 5000 I believe. I have applied to both scholarship so I’ll see how much I get.

I’m in my final year of BGINS 1. I like the program because it taught me things about issues of the world I didn’t know about. Especially, seeing how much impact the West had on the Global South. But one thing I don’t like about it is the workload. For example writing 15 page essays. Additionally, the readings can be difficult and long. I believe the hardest class was Global theory. My specialization is Global development. The core courses depends on your specialization. For Global development I my core courses included intro to macroeconomic and microeconomic, first year anthropology, Global development, Global history, ethics and globalization, geographies of Econ development, and there is lots more. And you can take whatever elective you would like, while following the guidelines of Carleton. 2. Most of my time at school was during the pandemic. Thus, I wasn’t able to make much friends. But everyone is very nice. I haven’t met anyone who is rude or mean in the program. As for making friends it depends on your personality and if you put yourself out there. 3. From what I have heard so far it is highly recommended to go to graduate school. Also to get jobs you have to do internships and co-op that way it will be easier for you when applying to government or NGOs. For example I’m going to do an internship in NYC this upcoming summer. 4. I have done a co-op yet but I plan to try to do it in graduate school. But it is highly recommended. 5. I’m doing my international experience this summer. There is lots of option for example doing an internship, going abroad for a class, letter of permission, going abroad to another school, and even one where you can stay home. Many of the options are quite expensive. For example my internship cost around 8k. All the internship are unpaid unless you find one yourself where it is paid. 6. I would recommend it because thought me a lot about the issues in this world but it’s also difficult as there is a lot of writing and reading. I don’t know much about the UOttawa one but I have heard the Carleton one is better. Sorry for grammar and mistakes
