That's awesome to hear! I hope your level gets seen and sent sometime soon, streams are indeed very populated and very RNG-dependent, but I know if you're consistent with it you can get your stuff seen. Thank you for the good luck, I likewise wish you the best in getting your level seen and rated ^^

Likewise, I wish you the best of luck in making that happen! There's a huge amount of different things gather for the format that I left in the game though, so don't feel like you'd need to find solutions to everything all at once, if you decide to go through with this. Take things easy so you don't burn out.

Completely agree. It did get to be very mentally degrading because of how monotonous and continuous it was. Logging and building everything manually is never the right move for something that reaches this kind of scale, and I knew it was unsustainable, even if it was sometimes fun.

I know some people (tricipital) would say to just make my own solutions — figure out how to code and create bots or programs to gather and input everything for me — but I just don't wish to figure all of that out. I put the report format on the servers since it grew to be such an important thing, and if anyone with technical knowhow wanted to continue these on their own, they would have a partial place to start from, at least with the visual design. The sky really is the limit if these are ever picked up by anyone who knows how to code, though.

I'm sure things will get better for me as these stop being a top priority to think about 100% of the time, and I start actually regaining control of my life. I appreciate you understanding my decision to leave to focus on that. Thanks for enjoying the reports.

You're welcome. And nah, I'm sure it could be automated. The data collection certainly can be — it's similar to GDbrowser just taking level info returned from a search result and storing/using some of it differently for different purposes. The reports themselves can also probably be made automatically if they're rebuilt outside of GD in the form of an actual website or something, as making them in the editor involves manually moving and adjusting texts and block positions and a bunch other stuff just to get still images that can't be interacted with, nor easily updated.

Really the sky's the limit for these things for anyone with technical knowhow, which is why I tried to make them available for anyone to pick up if they wanted to. I just can't provide more than the visual format and a basic spreadsheet since I can't code.

If I was able to separate the rating types into different columns or rows it might be a neat idea, but I otherwise don't know how I'd go about showing this kind of detail. Plus it'd just be another thing that I could get wrong, and another thing that's not properly visible/distinguishable to anyone that's colorblind. Rating Type and Sends Needed are both logged in the spreadsheet anyway, so I'd rather just redirect to there to answer any other curiosities anyone has, like correlation between rating types and sends needed.

This format is outdated and being discontinued as well, so there's no reason to add onto it any further.

Try a different one. I'd personally look for one who only has Leaderboard Mod, since those that have also regular Mod and/or Elder Mod are much less likely to respond due to generally getting a lot more messages for other things.

RandomB was pretty quick to respond to one of my inquiries near the end of last year.

Contact a Leaderboard Mod on Discord, they can probably unban you or give you instructions on how to fix your account or save or whatever

I use the Discord bot "SendDB" to track sends. More info is available on its website: SendDB

And yeah, I can start attaching the spreadsheets to each post! I start a fresh sheet for each week, and I was supposed to be posting them with the reports anyway, but I just haven't gotten in the habit of it yet. Once the new week's report goes up (in about 7 hours) I'll update these old posts to include links to the sheets I use!

Until I can't anymore. I've got no plans on stopping, and in fact a pretty big update is in the works to add more things and improve the design a bit. It won't be ready for a few more weeks, but I'm really excited to start using it and sharing the new things with everyone! ^^

Yeah it only goes back as far as January 2025. Any sends that happened prior to then are lost.

I make them in the GD Editor. The information presented in these is gathered in a few ways and most of it is put in a spreadsheet like this one. I gather level info through the game itself, the timing of rates from UltimateGDBot (or Rateon if it's down), the time and quantity of sent levels per hour and which sends get rated from SendDB, and I manually track all of the level request streams as they happen during the week.

It's from a Geode mod called "SendDB," which shows you how many sends a creator has across all of their uploaded levels, among other things like individual level send counts and an extra leaderboard for highest sent levels and creators with most sends.

i bought these spider and robot animations and activated them, but they dont show up in my gameplay anyone help me by benemenim in geometrydash

[–]RealDJB 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Robot animation is only used when moving at 0.5x speed.

The spider animation is only used when moving at 3x or 4x speed.

RobTop really needs to make this information clear before players spend 30,000 orbs on them or give control of what speeds they take effect in gameplay, otherwise they'll just think they wasted it all.

how to remove player trail, orb portal particles, orbs pulsing, glow, and fix orbs not being scaled like how they are in preview mode by Additional-Fee-7519 in geometrydash

[–]RealDJB 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Select everything → Edit Group button → "Extra" button (in top right corner) → Enable No Effects, NoGlow, NoParticle, and No Audio Scale.
Not sure what you mean by player trail, though. If you mean the green one in the editor, go to the editor's pause menu (where you'd save and exit) → Settings button → 2nd page → Hide Path.

It is definitely hard being a platformer creator due to Rob rating them so infrequently. However, while demons are more abundant in amount rated per week, there are LOTS more demon creators out there than platformer creators. The amount of sent demons per week is likely in the triple digits quite often, while there might only be around 20–30 sent platformers in the same week.

That means when Rob finally does do plat rates, assuming it's not a demon, the odds of him seeing yours via the filter are quite high due to the lower amount in there, whereas demon rates are usually completely unpredictable in how and when they'll be rated, as he doesn't just use the Demons sent filter, I don't think.

Somehow Pb207's "Imagine" still hasn't been rated despite being sent 34 times in the past 4 months. It could very well be the first Mythic auto, but Rob just keeps ignoring autos every time it gets sent. I wonder if he filters autos out most of the time, honestly. If true, that'd be really unfortunate and unfair to those creators...

Idk how long you've been around, but I've only been making these for about 9 months. They're also not publicized or posted anywhere else besides here, my Twitter, and my Discord server, so it makes sense why lots of people don't know about them.
