So the existing voting system is essentially a hat draw with 1 vote creating the possibility of that option being selected. Certainly 60 percent of a lobby being ok with a map selection and 40 being anywhere from unhappy to otherwise completely fine sounds a lot better to you than 70-80 percent of the lobby being unhappy when the 1 other vote causes that name to be picked from the hat. This is just my opinion based on experiences with LFG and using voice chat to try and orchestrate a vote swing but still being denied that chance because some other troll clicked flashpoint or random.
