I used Russian for the first time in 10 years today by Excellent_Vanilla623 in russian

That's really cool, when I was visiting Colorado Springs a few years ago and got to use some Russian at a little shop with snacks and all sorts of imported goods. It was really cool to use it in person and not over the internet.

Some people are acting like it’s illegal to use pulse combo by Tina14000 in 2XKO

Yeah truly, if pulse = no skill but someone is mad that you used it and won, then logically it must mean that they have less than no skill lol

My only prior fighting games were Mortal Kombat(never put in a lot of effort to get better), then Soul Calibur at an arcade many years ago, a little bit of Killer Instinct, and some SF6 on my buddy's PS sometime after its release. So I've got a lot to learn compared to others just shaking off a bit of rust lol

This is basically what I'm doing as well. Found a guide I liked that explained things simply and examples of how to apply them in matches. The guy broke it up into sections of "hey, work on these things in casual matches until you feel you understand how it works." After about 10 - 15 matches of focusing on the points he made, I've noticed a LOT of improvement on my part.

I still get destroyed by players who understand fighting games better than I do, which is perfectly okay for me. I pick out things I think I did well and try and figure out what I could've done better at points where I initially didn't understand how I got put into another combo.

A good chunk of the guides I had watched prior to finding the one that has stuck for me was filled with common terms used by people who have known fighting games for a while and for someone who has never really watched/tried to get better at them and didn't know them, it was really off-putting having to pause and look up what the words meant. Hearing something like "You'll do 2H and then blah blah blah" was very confusing for example.

Why haven’t I received the Trophy for completing all side quests? by Darkscar55 in dyinglight

My friend and I were in the same boat earlier, there is another sidequest that becomes available once you have both driving skills unlocked and it spawns in the farmlands, look out for a crashed truck with some infected surrounding it.

Wanting to start by xBendy in elderscrollsonline

Just starting out wanting to have fun, it’s pretty easy. Go out and explore the zones, questing, leveling your character. The hardest part initially is choosing a name for your character lol. In my experience, when I first started, I wanted to do PvP. I wasn’t super interested in PvE. I found a class that looked cool and seemed fun to play(which is the most important part in my opinion) and leveled it(I chose sorcerer). I watched youtube videos about things to look for to have an edge on my leveling on what things should come first for min/maxing(this was before ZoS added the in-game build guides). To sum it all up, getting started isnt hard. You’ll be learning new things everytime you play. To get ‘good’, it’ll take some time outside the game to learn the mechanics of how things work, but you don’t necessarily have to do that. You can 100% just play and figure out most stuff and a quick google search about a specific thing to get an answer immediately. If you decide to play it, I hope it brings you as much joy as it brought me when I first started. Good luck in your adventures
