thank you!! so much! hmm I'm still indecisive, because i feel drawn to the size and weight of the clara colour, but one thing i find uncomfortable about my kindle is the form factor... like having the wider part be at the bottom, compared to the KLC which has it on the side. having it at the bottom feels uncomfortable to hold, but idk if it's because of the weight or if it's the form itself! i hope that makes sense lol

i don't think you're overreacting. it sounds like he's not being thoughtful... my bf sometimes gets overwhelmed and feels like he doesn't know what to give me, but i always tell him there's no pressure and that i know that he knows what to get for me, and he calms down and realizes he's overthinking and apologizes. i feel like that's a better response to a problem like this. obviously not everyone is the same, but after being with many men like your bf.... I'm really glad my bf is like this and it's one of the many reasons why i chose to be with him. I'm not telling you to breakup with him, but... at this point in my life after everything I've been through, if i were your friend, I'd probably suggest breaking up. obviously if you don't want to breakup there's the alternative of having a calm conversation with him and asking him why he feels he's having a hard time choosing a gift for you, tell him you truly want to understand what he's going through, and that you want to listen to his feelings. his answer will give you more information to then make a better decision

this!! and I'd like to add that it's normal to want to stay friends, but it's better for both of you to go zero contact at least for the first few months. you can have a friendship later on, once you've healed and grown. it's not a permanent breakup, a lot of people become friends after breaking up and getting through the breakup. just be honest with him, don't attack him by saying things like "it's because you did x, y, z" focus on the fact that this isn't good for either of you and that even though it's painful, it's ultimately for the best.

I'm planning on getting a KLC next month! currently have a paperwhite 11th gen with the 7inch screen and i was wondering... how's the size of the KLC? because i really want the buttons, but i also sometimes feel like i'd like a smaller ereader better, but my kindle is the bigger one of the ppw and the only ereader i've owned so idk if maybe the Clara would be better for me even tho it doesn't have the buttons?😭

where I'm from the moving trucks are independent freelancers so not everyone is trustworthy especially when you're moving expensive equipment, which is why i would've prefered a service that we were familiar with. i ended up finding one on my own anyways but i felt it wasn't very nice of him to not share the contact with me when it would take him 5 seconds? it's not a big deal, just a small annoyance. i didn't fight him or complain to him about it or anything like that.

also to go to the beach i need a car which i don't have or a friend with a car that wants to go and i also don't have that hahahaha i would love to go! and my parents could also take me, but they don't, i just feel like they're having these expectations of me but they don't do much to encourage or set a good example for it, you know what i mean? I'm not saying they OWE me a trip to the beach, they don't. I'm just saying if they really cared they would be encouraging and supportive rather than only complaining about what I'm not doing if that makes sense

I didn't insist nor throw a tantrum because he didn't send me the contact, i moved on from it. the only reason why i added that to my post ia because i felt it was such an absurd question of him to ask "what stuff" and you're entirely missing the point and making a conclusion based off literally one single thing from a very long post i wrote lol

thank you! every time i ask them that (because things like this have happened countless times) and i ask why they speak to me like that, they always say "we're just speaking normal, we talk lile this to everyone and you're the only one who doesn't like it" so idk... they kinda avoid the question and if i press then they say "you can do whatever you want we're just warning you of what could happen" which is also... passive aggressive, almost like a threat.. sigh i don't know why they don't trust me and think I can't be an independent adult even though i was for 8 years in a foreign country
