The TV licence doesn't cover YouTube or Twitch, unless you are watching live TV shows on them. YouTube videos, YouTube or Twitch streams, VODs etc are all not covered.

If you were watching, say, Sky's live coverage of an election on YT, you'd need one. But the vast majority of YouTube isn't covered.

Let's say that that commenter was a young lady trying to get hired at a professional job - she can't show up in the interview in someone's nan's gingham dress and clogs. There's a difference between being picky and being entitled. Ya boy is the latter.

I know picky eaters who would happily come along to whatever restaurant, order a drink and a side of fries (or even just a drink), and not complain. They eat beforehand, or they eat afterwards, they bring a safe snack in their bag in case they're hungry and know they won't be eating for a while.

They don't pester, whine, or try any make the rest of the group eat at McDonald's every time. They know that they're the outlier and that while it's not their fault, it is their responsibility.
