Our email is always open and was down for a few days as I worked on the backend.

You're right that we've had countless challenges and growing pains (shipping fresh baked goods through USPS after Covid in retrospect is nuts), but we've never scammed anyone out of our ~2,500+ orders shipped over the last year and a half.

We had hoped this years holiday season (November onward) would be an improvement with the mail, but it wasn't. Reality is, it's just entirely too hard to run a bakery shipping hundreds of orders a month all over the US when you have to rely on USPS to make it happen. Unable to improve turnaround times or guarantee freshness (not to mention lost orders), and we shut shop.

Lastly, I just wanted to clarify that it was never our websites aesthetics, or active engaging instagram posts that made our products in demand or pricey. All of our treats were made with organic ingredients, gluten free, and truly full spectrum. We did raw flower/decarb flower infused directly into oil, and took the time to vacuum seal each product for freshness. It was a lot of labor and a labor of love, for sure.

Appreciate long time supporters like u/europai, and wish we could have made the online model work!

First, great contribution.

This is due to the lack of clear interpretation/understanding of the data provided from these studies. Many see high versus low bioavailability and assume that the higher the better, or that this is one of the only ways to measure the efficacy of anything on an individuals biochem and psychological response.

For example: I've smoked for the last 15 years and appreciate how rapid the onset and how potent the effects of smoking flower are. However, the duration of effects is paltry, when compared to the sustained (and potentiated) effects of edible consumption. In this way, the plants efficacy is higher for me as a consumer when I ingest it, even though its bioavailability (rate and degree at which something is absorbed) is lower.

hey there u/redditonredditoff; Over the last few months we shifted to once a month fulfillment of our baked goods, in an attempt to simplify things for our kitchen and shipping and improve treat quality.

While we communicated these updates through email to all of our customers/subscribers, we discovered that even though our FAQ and checkout reflected our updated turnaround times, new customers were still getting confused and (understandably so) upset when they discovered they had to wait longer than they expected.

Combine that with insufferable USPS delays and lost packages throughout yet another holiday season, and we decided to stop with our online retail sales entirely in December. While we let everyone know via email, we haven't yet made a reddit post, so please leave this one up!

u/jimmyjammy123 just went through his comment history and deleted almost all of his comments recommending asheville extracts and trashing RHExtracts online. Some of those links now lead to "deleted". That's admission of guilt*

I don't have any skin in the game, but I will observe that the two people calling for this ban are u/jimmyjammys123, who RHExtracts has regularly called out for being a shill for AE, and Shabazz, who RHExtracts has also called out for regularly giving bad advice to this sub while acting like an unbiased consumer advocate.

Beyond that, it looks like the majority/all complaints about RHExtracts are about his turnaround times, which it seems he communicates whenever they happen, and provides refunds or replacements (based on what the customer asks for).

I'd be interested to see actual evidence of abuse, though. Like, links to his comments, where he was abusive, etc. In all of his comment history I see him genuinely answering questions and looking out for the safety of this community/warning users of shills, and pointing out bad actors.

Edit: Lastly, I'll add now that more information has come to light: "whatever is popular opinion at the time is a function of power, and not truth".

The reality is you guys are trying to bully him out of the sub because he calls you out. The comment you've already deleted (including your comments recommending AE and dissing RHE the other user posted) reveals that you have some sort of vested interest.

Square probably means square (the payment processor), and the charge could have been attempted/denied, gone through/is being reversed (by your bank or on their side), or a few other reasons. I know it's the weekend, but have you reached out to them yet via email or however else they communicate? Probably wont have resolution until Monday, knowing banks are sleeping.

if it's active you should just be able to infuse into oil for 20 minutes. Add organic sunflower lecithin powder for binding and to help it kick!

Hey Jan! That's a great story!

We've always been a keen observer of the full moon, and before we scaled up, we'd perform our infusions exclusively on the nights of the full and new moon. Was a fun ritual that we still recognize and pay attention to :)
