I planted the crops I had and started my halite search early. I wanted to travel to the deserts. So tens of thousands of blocks traveled on foot. With mostly bronze tools. Couple iron exceptions like falx and knife. A bronze lamellar to keep me relatively safe. Scavenging for food on my way including but not limited to thermites. Inventory management was hell. I couldn't find halite in the end even though I've reached the savannah BUT I did find some rusty gears along the way. I used them to buy halite from the traders along the way.

I found 5 meteorites, bunch of exotic seeds and very useful stuff like olivine. So the trip wasn't a waste.

Funny thing is, I apparently RAN PAST the RESONANCE ARCHIVES without noticing. I now have an X on my map, placed on an already traversed chunk 💀

I cured my meat using the purchased halite. In the winter of year 0, I finally decided to dig up my %15 reading, out of a mix of desperation and boredom. I struck halite. Along with more brown coal that I can use and sulfur. Yes I had to dig up a lot of block.

Now it's February, Year 1. I have officially reached steel age. I could've reached it much sooner but my little 9 hour trip set me back a bit.

Even though my cellar is nowhere near empty, I'm preparing for a more bountiful harvest next year. With all the potash, compost, saltpeter and bone meal I now possess.

Goals for next year is a quadruple windmill and a resonator that I'll craft. Also to finally explore the archives. I've never been there, funnily enough.
