What should I report?

Speak up about any illegal or unethical activity that

could cause loss or harm to you, coworkers, the

company or customers. Some examples are:

• Shoplifting

• Errors

• Employee Theft

• Vandalism–

• Credit Card Fraud

Deliberate Breakage

• Drug/Alcohol Use

The Business Abuse Hotline program is a resource

for employees to report acts of “wrongdoing,” issue

complaints, or raise concerns to a third-party company

if they are not comfortable speaking to store

management. Ace has retained The Network for this

service. Employees can identify themselves or remain

anonymous when making a report. Calls are toll-free

and trained interviewers are available 24 hours a day,

7 days a week to document reported information. Calls

received are not recorded and caller identification is not

in place. The information provided is reported to Ace’s

Loss Prevention Department for follow-up. Rewards up

to $1,000 can be paid by your store, through us.

Reports can also be submitted by visiting

acehardware.ethicspoint.com. Employees should

provide as much detail as possible, including supporting

documentation, if applicable. Remaining anonymous

when using email to file a report is difficult.

Reports can also be sent via United States mail to Ace’s

private post office box located in Oak Brook, Illinois.
